Name a weapon worse than the Nambu 94 .
(Pro tip: you can't)
>>32233140
This or the gen 3 glocks with all their malfunctions.
infallible
>>32233140
Glocks explode in your hand when you shoot them. Not even sure if Nambu is that shitty.

I was gonna say Gyrojet.

Does anyone have that Nambu review? The one where the writer takes all the negative feedback and injects buzzwords and spin to it

Type 94s are alright. They shoot pretty well.

What's wrong with it?
>>32237384
You're thinking of the Type 94, sear's exposed portion is big enough to set it off with your bare finger.
>>32233181
Damn near
Is that one yours?
>>32233140
The Liberator.
Both Liberators really.
>>32234826
L85 at least has AESTHETICS, something the Nambu 94 lacks
>>32233199
>>32233280
Tried something new, Nambu 94 sucked at trying something old

Uhh
>>32239587
>Gun used for civilians to kill soldiers and grab their guns
A simple job that it would also have proved inept at.
>>32239091
no, I pulled that off the googles.
Mine is at home after spending a few days in a bowl of evaporust.
Im trying to decide if I want to bother bluing it correctly or just cold blue the entire thing.
I cant figure out how to get the goddamn bolt/recoil assembly out
>tfw a shitty jap pistol is probably safer than this matchlock revolving masterpiece
Then again the guy who owned it (louis xiii) supposedly used it alot

>>32239821
Is it any enjoyable to shoot with at all? I saw once at a Gander Mountain when I was a kid and shit myself damn near. Only reason I knew what it was was because I had bought a firearms book displayed the Gyrojet,Infallible, vsrious derringers, etc. What originally got me hooked I guess.
>>32240768
I havent shot it yet. I just got it a week or so ago and it needed cleaned up.
It looked like someone had gotten paint inside of it somehow and the outside had a sheen of rust.
Excpet fot the bolt and barrel, its mostly made of CAST IRON.
CAST
FUCKING
IRON
So Im not 100% sure Im going to shoot it.
there's also the whole "breech block flies out the back of the gun and hits you in the face" problem to contend with.
I took a pick of it all rusty, Ill take some picks of it cleaned up and some full disassembly instructions as there are none on the entirety of the internet
>>32240945
Best of luck man if you do fire it.

>>32240267
cool, now that guy needs to get himself a martini-henry and learn to sing men of harlech

Im pretty lazy though.
>>32233140

also, I was just reading that cast iron doesnt take bluing very well.
great, so I guess my other option is case hardening
>>32240981
>>32240987
it was not a good, solid gun
>>32240987
Not that it wasn't without significant flaws, but I've heard the reputation comes largely from the terrible .30-06 conversion
>>32240981
Didn't know the Chauchat had a straight box mag varient
>>32240009
Is it bad that I want to make one of those, just to see if it would actually work?
>>32241065
its the .30-06 version which jammed more than the one with holes in the mag to let in mud

The Lebel was revolutionary.
When it was accepted.
>>32241366
The Cartridge was revolutionary not the rifle. The rifle was a pos.

Jimmies are literally the shittiest guns in existence.
>>32233140
the Nambu 93
>>32240558
One could argue that the Walker's only fault was being limited by the metallurgy of the period.
The Nambu is just a bad gun, a superb example of a solid mechanical shit.
The Walker is actually not a poorly designed gun. Besides it's loading lever spring and overall weight the gun is mechanically identical to all of colt's more successful revolvers of the time.
Even it's weight gets a pass because it was meant to be used by mounted soldiers.
>>32241723
The puckle gun.
>>32240945
be sure to wrap a note-card around it saying "do not fire"
>>32233140
The type 94 goes off if you touch the exposed seer with the safety off, a Taurus 24/7 goes off if you shake it with the safety on.

Dreyse has some of the worst balance ever.
Also 1908 pieper bayard has the worst recoil management. Building that gun in calibers above 25acp was retarded
>>32233140
Glock
>>32241763
What was wrong with it?
>>32239821
I have one.
You have to push the pin on the cocking handle out to one side, that will release the bolt from the recoil springs.
The rest, no idea.
Infallibles are also cast iron, they were case hardened and not blued.
The barrel, bolt and worky bitz are steel though.
