Btw...if NK ever got their grubby mitts on a working typhoon class sub they'd fill it with half trained conscripts, park it off of the coast of California with all weapons pointed at Los Angeles (it would be actually pointed in some general direction of open sea but they wouldn't know that) they'd break every system on that thing until they caused a core meltdown and blew up without any interference. The rest of the world would be left scratching their heads just like every other time they pull some bullshit hijinks.

On the other hand the North Korean propaganda machine would spin it to claim that the sub fired a nuke on Washington D.C., crippling the US, then courageously and deftly fought off the entire combined NATO naval forces. The sub would be touted as finally lost when defeated by a cowardly and desperate, apocalyptic level combined suicide attack by the majority of the Western global armed forces.
