What does /k/ think of Ahoy?
>>32226220
It is the inferior greeting. "Hello" is vastly better.

"Avast" is also the better pirate word.

Avast is more like look, ahoy is the hello equivalent
Ahoy makes me think of pirates and privateers, so it's one of my favorite greetings.
Oh, the YouTuber? One of my favorite vidya channels, and the guy actually knows a good bit about guns.
It's what they say in the czech republic when they answer the phone.
Also was in the running for the first generally accepted "phone greeting". Ahoy-ahoy, actually. Which is why you'll hear Monty Burns saying it in The Simpsons - it's a joke that he's so old he was around when that got decided but didn't switch over.

I enjoy his content in general, regardless of whether its /k/ related or not.
I never watched any of his alcohol videos though

I like his videos he really knows how to make the subject make an impact. Like the FAL i felt like rooting for the underdog gun and its a gun! or how DOOM is the best thing ever (i agree with that) overall he's awesome.

He visits /k/ and /v/ apparently.

>t. Ahoy
Ahoys a gem in the YouTube industry. Do you guys think that Ahoy could become one of us?
I like his editing and transitions. Those gun documentary shows need some kind of reboot and they need his transitions and shit.
