OP here. Yes, $2,500. Its used with only 3 range days on it. I estimate only 200-300 rounds have been through it. However, I am concerned if the SCAR 17s can out perform my 20" Armalite AR-10? The SCAR 17s is only 16.25 in. Is SCAR 17s the better .308 /k/ ?

monetarily, if its in good condition you can buy and resell easily for cost (or even profit) if you dont like it. not a lot of guns have that same premise. that alone should make it a buy.
that being said, i was really into the scar 17. then i shot it. its not bad by any means but i think the internet got my hopes up. its a fantastic shooting rifle that everyone drools over but at the prices they go for, it doesnt interest me as it should
