Will the prices be better before Christmas or after Trumps inauguration?
Also - gun show bingo thread please, I find them funny.

No, just like anything else they hike up the prices to meet the influx of show goers. You may find a deal or two on some obscure item, but on the whole no.
>Sporterized milsurp for more than an intact one is worth

Why does this pic look familiar?
Did you take this from one of the classic WW2 CoD or Medal of Honor games by any chance?

If you're waiting for a deal, wait around 6mos-year until all of this shit normalizes. Right now demo are having their own pseudo Crisis. Unrest will keep gun prices up for a while.

Election panic faded right as holiday buying picked up.
No one wants to carry inventory new years day and get dinged on taxes. This applies to retailers and mfgs. Retailers at a gun show will not have good prices until feb-mar
After the holidays, when people get new shit, and the holiday credit card bills come in you may see a nice tick up. But you can hit armslist up for that.

>Will the prices be better before Christmas or after Trumps inauguration?
I have never really found good deals at gun shows. Most of the junk is old and beat up, the ammo is shit that the table owner bought at Walmart, and the optics are made for airsoft or are cheap chicom knock offs. The price of admission has never been worth it for me.
And never, ever, be tempted by buy the roadkill jerky.

Hmm. I found a good deal once, $360 for a 9/10 Win94

Prices rarely go down once they've risen. The ammo manufacturers and gun makers will work together to keep prices high through controlling supply.

Gun show Bingo:

>ammo manufacturers
There is a dual factor in ammo prices. The market demand for ammo, and the market demand for the copper that's used to make ammo. Over the last few years copper prices have greatly fallen, and we have seen ammo prices come down. Now, at the same time, the hoarding seemed to stop or slow. Federal 115gr 9mm box at Walmart are $12. They had been as much as $15 year years ago. So, prices have fallen and have fallen more than the $3/box when you figure in inflation.
Copper was $4.35/lb in 2010 and today it's at $2.62/lb
