they make shit. I just got a G17 on black Friday and after 500 rounds it is still throwing brass back at my arm, shoulder and chest. I took it to a Glock armorer at the local fun store and he had it for a day. He cleaned it and then he test fired it and was like "yea, it's throwing brass back" he swapped in a new extractor, now it's throwing brass back at his face now. He's going to contact Glock for me on Monday and try to figure out what's up. Glock perfection my ass.

/k/ isn't one person. People here have differing viewpoints on what their favorite handgun is. Some love the g19, others love the CZ 75 variants, others love XD series or M&P series. I love my 19, but I can also appreciate and understand why others don't like it and prefer other handguns.

I'm not. What pisses me off is that my other guns, a USP compact in .40, a 226 Legion in 9, and a bare bones SA 1911 Milspec have never, NEVER given me any problems. I even used to have a LEO buy back 4006 and it never gave me any problems. But I guess this is proof you get what you pay for, and the Glock was the least expensive gun I have ever bought. Again, Glock Perfection my ass.

I've never had a problem with any of my glocks but I did have a P226 that would constantly fail to eject properly. Guess what? Every company makes lemons. Your one personal experience is not representative of anything. You should really learn about statistics.
