just passed the 2,000 round mark today.

chaNge the recoil spring at 3,000rds and don't put some 12lb spring in it.

The plastic one will go 10,000 rds easily
the steel ones will make noise even when greased
it's not really aa upgrade or downgrade.

people use 12Lb springs saying it reduces recoil (it does), but fail to realize their slide stop is getting battered to hell.
the stock 18lb spring is there for a fucking reason.

keep it stock, enjoy the gun.
