"Training Rifle"
Why do people buy pic related instead of an actual functioning firearm, /k/? Especially if it is marketed as a training rifle on the page? It blows my god damn mind.
>>32205295
some people have more money to spend than others. $2500 isnt shit to some people
>>32205310
>Airsoft Training Rifle
>>32205310
if they have 2500 to blow on an airsoft rifle, they can afford to take a carbine class and actually train with a real rifle.
>>32205295
That price isn't even really that unreasonable for what you're getting. You would probably know that if you had any comprehension of the design work and production cost put into replicating an already boutique firearm, the licensing and small scale precision manufacturing required. But this is /k/ and the fact this thread exists tells us you have no inkling whatsoever and are simply shitposting outside of your depth.
>>32205411
Some do take real classes and then go play airsoft and use that stuff. It's pretty fun to use all that stuff you learn in courses on actual people without killing them. Don't knock it until you try it.
>>32205414
>$2,530 for a toy
Just get the real thing nigga.
>>32205459
cant train force on force
>>32205459
So you won't mind when I shoot you with the real one right?

Simunition
>>32205504
>>32205491
>can spend 2500 bucks on a toy
>but cant afford simunition
kek
>>32205491
I think the point being made here is that the gun is expensive as fuck. Like isn't the point of airsoft supposed to be that it's cheaper? If you're gonna blow thousands of dollars on a hobby then why not go for the real thing?
what the actual fuck is the point of pic related?
>>32205411
youre making the assumption that those two options are mutually exclusive. maybe they have a very expensive rifle and they have this for training at home. or maybe their noguns who dont like the real thing.
however, my point isnt the fact that the money could be better spent, it was that some people have money to spend on whatever whims they have.
>>32205295
Psh, this nigger bought a real SpectreDR for his airshit.

Have you ever used simunition? Gives a good punch, but it is terribly inaccurate at longer distances. Handguns are garbage after 30ft, Rifles are garbage after 50-100ft. Handguns are terrible for jams as well.
>>32205544
>my point isnt the fact that the money could be better spent
So you're the judge of how people should spend their own money? What are you a fucking communist? How about you just fuck off with your "stop liking what I don't like" attitude.
>>32205573
That's because it's meant for CQC, a combat situation normal people are far more likely to be in. At what point do you expect to do long range force on force combat?
>>32205573
And airsoft is a paragon of accuracy?
>>32205616
It's cheaper and inherently safer than Simuntion/FTX weapons and doesn't come with the hassle/red tape associated with either.
It can also be a fun hobby which is why the product in OP's post exists in the first place. This entire thread is just manchildren attempting to assert their superiority over other manchildren.

>$2,530.00
>Cheaper
>>32205616
>And airsoft is a paragon of accuracy?
If you spend the time/money, you can get an airsoft rifle that's accurate up to 200-300ft. Doesn't have to be a $2500 airsoft "rifle"
>>32205609
I don't really expect to be in any combat at any point in my life. Doesn't mean I can't have fun taking courses or playing airsoft. "Training" for either event.
Even in CQC courses (active shooter training), you'd see sim round markers on ceiling tiles, EXIT signs, all over the damn place because they just plain and simple aren't accurate after 30-50ft.
>>32205670
6mm BB's cost a few dollars and come in bags by the thousand. It's the perfect training tool for a poorfag like you.
>>32205540
Those are speed holes. Makes it go faster.
>>32205649
No one is judging the hobby. Airsofting looks to be a fun past time, sure, but $2500 for what is eventually a fake gun? There are much cheaper options that gives the user the same result.
>>32205685
Again, the problem I'm having isn't with airsoft itself, it's with the price, as you have clearly just proven. I just don't see the point of such an expensive toy.
>>32205707
Just like there are much cheaper options than the real Salient, yet people still buy them. The airsoft scene is no different. How is this such a difficult concept for faggots like you to understand?
>>32205723
I dunno man sometimes I get grumpy over how stupid people are lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
>>32205717
>I just don't see the point of such an expensive toy.
Personal preference man, does it make sense? No. Did I do it? Heck yeah :-\. Same reason people buy into crap like Salient Glocks. I've had one of those $2500 airsoft guns (systema ptw), then I had a polarstar (equally expensive), then I had a GBBR that was a 100% match to my real Daniel Defense rifle and cost the same amount. I ended up selling it all and buying more guns and gear, but I'd probably buy it back again if I had a tight group of friends to go with again.
>>32205792
Fair enough, I have similar feelings about shit like Salient Glocks to be honest. I'm just a utilitarian cunt is all.
