Edc Thread?
. Ccw Ruger lc9 pro, I know its not the best but its what i got for a good price. Leatherman surge, I love this thing use it at my work all the time though if i get the time between my christmas gifts I might modify it by removing some of the current attachments and modifying a multi-tip screw driver into it. Prolly going to take a while. Might make a thread about it. Notebook for obviously notes and quick sketches, always carry one of some kind I use it often. Earplugs for work. Wallet is my dads given to me from when he was my age. and car keys. Any tips on modifying the leatherman?
Best EDC comin' thru! Out the way, nigs.

I like the Mageline holster. How much did it cost yah?
>>32200653
Just a Nautica wallet. Nice, but not exceptional.
I have a few cans and can carry and use them freely. I live in the Northern Amerifat zone.
>>32200571
Yes. Yes it is. I carry a long slide suppressed .45 and a custom crack pipe.

the mosin tool is a pretty good keychain
lays flat in a pocket or pouch, but big enough that misplacing your keys is difficuly
..and obviously you get the basic flathead & you can pry things with it

its weird that it annoys some guys when you show them the lots of reloads ya carry.
..like, i dont mind carrying the extra bulk/weight, so, why do you care if i carry extra bang?
>>32201113
Is that a GP-100? I know it's not a Smith from the cylinder release latch at the very least.

Since you obviously like it enough to carry it, I have some questions for you about your sp101:
Is that a 3 or 4 inch barrel?
Are those .38 +Ps or .357s in those speed strips?
What are its upsides and downsides relative to other carry revolvers?
Why'd you pick it over a plastic fantastic in 9?
(I carry a J-frame)

>Is that a 3 or 4 inch barrel?
4.2"
>Are those .38 +Ps or .357s in those speed strips?
a combination of .357mag
125gr & 158gr.. hollowpoint loads
>What are its upsides and downsides relative to other carry revolvers?
>Why'd you pick it over a plastic fantastic in 9?
i like heavy handguns. i grew up shooting wheelguns. i shoot heavy handguns more proficiently than pocket guns. so, the 30oz sp is, for me, a good shooter. .357mag hollowpoint loads at approx 1300+fps are well-documented manstoppers. the 125gr loads arent difficult to control out of a heavyish gun & the 4" barrel allows for some of the infamous '357 velocity'. for example, i avoid .357 in a barrel less than 4". i would use .38spec +p in a shorter gun (less muzzle flash too). im 6'4" w/ big hands & the hogue grips fully-accommodate a full grip, which also aids in recoil management. i also prefer double-action guns of nearly any type vs single-action, for the sake of edc, which, i suppose, is largely subjective. crisp single-action pull is also nice utility. the adjustable rear sight is a plus, as well as the green fiber-optic front. it illuminates well, even at dusk. i also prefer larger revolvers for a longer sight-radius.
hope that helps

forgot to mention...
bought it new & have been shooting & carrying this sp for 4+ years
no malfunctions, no hiccups
i trust this gun
>>32202000
It does help. Thanks for the heads up man, might look into one in the future if I can find it at a good price.
>>32201774
what light?
>>32202072
Actually, I remembered that I have one more question for you. How often do you take off the side plate to clean the internals?
>>32202057
it's a lesbian car.
>>32202168
no side plate
..the grip frame & trigger parts are combined into one assembly. the mainspring is accessed by removing the grip & a beefy, spring-loaded tab is depressed to release the action assembly.
i do a detailed strip & clean a few times a year.
the internals can be lubed from the outside (the hammer opening in the frame, the cylinder lock opening, etc)

An SP101 breaks down like that? That's pretty neat, and it certainly seems less risky than what you have to do for a Colt or Smith.
>>32201696
Yessum massah, Juice S2.
But not factory trigger. I switched the ribbed one for a factory smooth one, but then went to the LW Ultimate Adjustable trigger. I got it for cheap on the pre-order and will keep it, but I probably won't ever get another. I just got a Overwatch trigger for my large frame. I expect that to be much nicer.

>>32204165
why do they always pretend that the gun doesn't stick out 6in from their 2 o' clock like a piece of steel rebar sticking out of the side of a horrific motorcycle accident victim?
I carry appendix but pretending that it doesn't print with full size is stupid. why even pretend to hide that one uncontrollable angle of weird unidentifiable printing?
Help: I'm getting a new holster for myself this Christmas to replace my shitty bladetech but I would also like a new mag pouch (also to replace a shitty bladetech that has no retention) what does /K/ recommend?
