Compared to a t-shirt and jeans? Yes.
>>
>>32171851
Well, McDonalds is gourmet compared to eating out of a dumpster. But that doesn't make it gourmet.
>>
>>32171837

suit and tie is actually the definition of formal, yes.
>>
>>32171837

This whole show is fucking terrible. I thought it was going to be cool survival shit, but no it's just another reality show. Mick Dodge is alright though.

Very. Most dress shirts work quite well with tuckable holsters and depending on what your local area is like, obviously look way less out of place tucked into your pants if you are in the habit of putting a fabric layer between you and your gear. They are often fold over in just the right amount to hide a belt clip or a bulge.

The biggest benefit I see is the sports coat or suit jacket. One of the dead giveaways for carrying is a concealment garment that is out of place or worn unexpectedly. Even if someone doesn't single that out a tell it's just more attention than you want if someone asks you why you have your winter coat or vest on inside. Unless you have a reason to, you can basically keep a formal jacket on indefinitely. That also makes a shoulder rig or OWB holster noticeably more viable for the same reason you can bust them out in winter without dressing around them too much.

>baggy ass off the rack shitty fit
You still have to look good.
>>
>>32172704
Well yeah but you figure that they probably have suits tailored to this need, nor are they concerned if they accidentally print or something.

Only other thing I can add for sure is that the need for a good belt becomes paramount. I could probably clip my single stack right onto some jeans. Suit pants on the other hand...

Your shirts don't fit, or you're fat.

Perhaps more clarity. This bit here I find does a great job of obscuring the print of a holster/grip or part of the belt loop. I cannot speak for everyone but I do not generally where dress shirts more slim fit than that. By the time I sit down or move a bit I acquire some slack in the shirt anyway.

last time I had a suit on I tried to conceal my S&W Model 29 in a shoulder holster in it and it wasn't even close to fitting, looked like I had a baseball size tumor growing out of my armpit
>>
>>32172923
Was it vertical or horizontal? The horizontal ones are for police chiefs who have to deal with loose cannon vice cops who dont by the rules , also worn without an over shirt/jacket
>>
>>32173198
*dont play by the rules
