Would /k/ choose a Vepr in .308 or an M&P 10?
I'd choose a Vepr. I love my Vepr-12.

I'm sure they'd both do you just fine.
I'm saying vepr just because I'm an ak guy. I just like how they look, work, and come apart.

M&P 10
Get the M&P 10, sell it, then buy 2 .308 Veprs.
if you're American, the M&P
Vepr is a commie gun

AKs and ARs are both fun. Buy as many of each as you can afford.

If converted to regular AK furniture, I choose VEPR
If it has the neutered furniture, I choose MP10

Would the VEPR shoot as good in .308 as what it was designed to shoot in ie 7.62x39?
>>32170438
It was originally designed for 54r so yes.

My 54r vepr shoots a consistent 1.5 MOA with 174gr silver bear. Its plenty accurate.
I own a .308 Vepr and i love it but ergo's and sights will be better on the M&P and it will be easier to scope. I believe the Vepr is better quality though, bad part is there are no replacement bolts or extractors if you ever break one.

Isn't the M&P10 several hundred dollars more expensive than a .308 Vepr?
>>32171061
I thought they were fairly close in price with the M&P being a tad more expensive. I think .308 Veprs are selling for around $1,000 right now. I bought mine black Friday a few years ago from Atlantic Firearms for $500.

Poorfags get all butthurt about AK vs. AR because they can only have one rifle at a time.

never mind the Vepr is about $800 now and the M&P is about $1,300. I thought you could find the M&P for much cheaper than that. I would build my own before i bought a M&P for that much cash.
