It's a Winchester Model 70 Black Shadow. It's a special edition. The little coin on it is a National Wild Turkey Federation seal. It's in 7mm Rem Mag, and the barrel is ported to help with it being a lightweight gun in a caliber with a lot of kick. Every time you fire it you get a blast of hot air to the face and recoil is negligible. It's awesome.

Scope is a Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15x40mm.

I use it for durr and elk mostly. Too expensive to really shoot for fun outside making sure it's still dead-on. ACCURATE fucking gun.

I've never heard it referred to anything other than 7.62x51. You could have also used process of elimination. 5.56 and 9mm are both NATO rounds but neither are referred to on the cans as REALFUCKINNATO. The only other calibers visible in the pic was whatever the AK is chambered in, which is not going to be a NATO round unless it's 5.56 which was already listed.

I made it. Mine is an older NPAP which shipped with a fucking terrible high, close stock comb that makes the gun useless if you're using the irons. So I took a wood rasp and sander to it. Then refinished it. Actually since taking that picture I'm in the process of refinishing it again.

People really don't like the Century wood though I can't comment since my NPAP has different wood on it (afaik the wood on the older NPAPs is Serbian beech though not surplus, I've never been able to confirm this one way or the other though). The fact that IWD is making Warsaw pattern furniture for NPAPs is really fucking cool but I wish they had the various wood options like they do with their standard M70-pattern stuff. A laminate set would be amazing.

Also apparently the Warsaw-pattern stocks use a different, shorter through-bolt than mine, which is the same as a surplus M70.

That said IWD is using the same wood that Zastava uses (Beech) so that's pretty fucking cool.

Expensive as shit though. I bought my NPAP for $500, so throwing $300 down for new furniture is a big ask IMO. Even $100 for a new stock strikes me as really steep.

Small, but I just started in October and I'm working with a poorfag college student budget. Sporterized Argie Mauser is the newest addition, got it from Cabela's for $240 - cheapest of the 4 they had because no scope, but the flip-up sight is gone (original is still there though) and the bolt handle's been bent. All serials match including the one on the bolt handle; it's a DWM from 1901. Bore is great, no pitting or corrosion anywhere.
Next purchase will probably be some form of Vepr but not for a while, I bought my current collection over the course of 2 months. No handguns yet because only 18. Next purchase will be either a Vepr in 7.62x54R or a Tanfoglio Appeal.
