It's a lot of fun if not a total pain in the butt, especially with a spiral notebook.
I also like how you've managed to depict the holding of a firearm. Although I can depict one being held, it's always been tricky for me to draw one shouldered. I know the anatomy and I know the gun - It's just hard for me to get foreshortening right. I just don't know what to draw first, the arm or the gun

Also, are you planning on sticking to the anime aesthetic? Not hating,' it's just fine. I just know many turn to it out of frustration with grounded looking faces, as I was.

Then I discovered Loomis and Bridgman and my whole life changed forever

That's a near hypervelocity round, in real life. Once it enters the body, supercavitation occurs at the level where the temporary wound channel is technically larger than your body diameter. Permanent wound channel may actually also exceed the body dimensions, indeed cutting a torso in two pieces.

It's part of why i feel them looking off-puttingly animal is interesting, because it tests empathy and trust.

This kind of premise doesn't work in the real world right now because we can't really imagine tresspassing the modern ethical norms so easily, but in a world in which these kinds of things are possible and the line in the sand is already crossed for a long enough time, it's hard to imagine it stopping either.

An animal super soldier does what it's nature compels it to do, it doesn't go home ruined by PTSD, it doesn't cash a check, it spares dozens of humans to do the same job, there are already a lot of them around and they technically can't be discharged and retired until they literally die, etc. They're just another unsavory aspect of warfare while everyone's home enjoying the wonders of this technology.

It's gloomy but i like the places i can go with it. I can think of ways everyone involved will try to make the best of the situation, i find that's always been my favorite part of fiction.
>>
>>32147347
I like the idea of the technology getting banned for humanitarian reasons and discharged, and then none of them know what to do with themselves

hey now, I imagine another war comic won't hurt. Pretty sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but all a tank is (or any AFV for that matter) in terms of draftsmanship is a giant prism to set to the VP. All you need's the basic construction.

That and like with any composition, planning is the key to make it a good drawing regardless of subject. The advantage in drawing war-related things is that you have a lot of stuff to play with to make the composition impressive

Anon, do me a quick favor

Don't let others define who you are or what you can do

I mean hey, if it's not your dream, I guess it's not too important, but if it is, don't let anyone deter you! A blind guy climbed Everest and cripple ran a marathon. You are by no means hindered. Don't take anyone's crap. If it's what you wanna do, then go for it. End of story. If you want to be good, it takes time. Talent is what amount of skill you were born with. It is you inherent ability to do a given task, and it seems your artistic talent is low. So what? There's a difference between talent and skill. Wile talent is something you're given, skill is something you've earned through hours and hours of honing your craft. Anyone can can all puffy about their talent, but those who took the time to hone their skill have something real to bring to the table.

Don't give up man You've got it in you!
