Rhodesia was a little first world white run country in central Africa that used to be a British colony. Britain said "whoops we have to give all our colonies back to the natives" but white Rhodesians had lived there for generations and didn't want to leave, so they declared independence. They held their own for a good few decades but in the end they got swarmed by communist nogs and were abandoned by the west because "they racist" (even though they weren't racist). Rhodesia is now Zimbabwe, aka a third world black run communist authoritarian shithole
