>The final design for the UNSA SATO Marine helmets. With the hero Marines, I wanted to create a rugged and tough suit that paid homage to some classic Marine ideas. Mainly the thick armoured neck and arms. The thick neck was an attempt to create a different silhouette than the usual space suit form of thin neck/big helmet. I kept the helmet as slim and 'operator' as possible, while pumping up the neck, to create a unique look that feels badass, and harks to the leatherneck moniker of the Marines.

The lower arm sections and neck utilise mechanical pressure to protect from the vacuum of space, while the rest of the outfit is a traditional gas pressure space suit. Taking inspiration from the latest concepts of future space suits from places like NASA, with their elasticated tight fitting sleeves and lines of non-extension, I created a rugged military look with a thick armoured feel and beefy grid like pattern.

>A couple of variations on the standard SDF enemy soldiers. The idea was to create an iconic look, something clearly a guy in a suit, but still dehumanised and threatening enough to make them clearly the badguys, and worthy of killing by the hundreds. I added some frames to the 'muzzle', similar to the mounts on a modern day soldiers helmet, that can have additional optics or emergency breathing apparatus attached, to create an aggressive look. The reinforced polymer face pieces have a variable opacity laminate, I imagined a scene where you see a soldier seal up his transparent mask, then the mask turns cloudy white from the bottom up, obscuring the face and turning the visage into an eyeless skull. These SDF soldiers live in their suits, and have multiple redundancy life support systems, with visible added connective cable and hoses, to create a unique inside-out look to contrast against the clean and slick suits of the Earth forces.

The campaign is a battle buddy story between the pilot and the titan with humor here and there.
The chapters are pretty different and always bring something new to the table.
Wall running and double jumping at 40km/h while shooting guns could be a lot of fun if you are into that kinda thing.
Enemy pilots emack talk you like a mecha anime and I loved it.
Chapter 5 blew my mind in a good way with something I don't want to spoil.
The tone is kinda silly at times.

Haven't touched multiplayer yet, but the campaign is really solid. Granted there's of course COD style shooting bad guys with guns but over all I think it's fun.

You know to be honest I recently played thru the SP campaign, and well for once out of these Future or Near Future thrash CoD games I actually enjoyed the campaign hell after the snakeshit low bar CoD Ghosts and Black OPs 3 set I don't know how they could fuck shit up even worse SP wise.

But the whole Navy SEAL and Navy Aviator rolled into one; SCAR Team shit is ludicrous to say the least.
Overall pretty decent campaign, OK to good characters, stages a bit ho hum needed more mass warfare low or no G ground combat and less of poor mans knock off of FreeSpace space flight sim. Some decent feels towards the end but no where the level of CoD 4/MW1 end of Marine Campaign.

I got the bundle just for MW remastered and Im a little embarrassed to admit how much I'm enjoying IW. The campaign was lightyears better than the pseudo h+ shit of BLOPS 3 and the multiplayer doesn't feel like im playing on the inside of a Toy's R Us.

MW is still more enjoyable but if you had to have a future/space shit CoD, IW isnt too horrible

Same not ashamed to say that I enjoyed playing thru IW and would like to see more from this universe/timeline.
The side OPs were short and just sweet enough for you to want more and not to mention the upgrade and loadout system was a nice touch the story missions could have been a lot more numerous though.
Also so glad the the main bad guy wasn't so cliché Corney just someone who driven tobreak free and wipe earth from the universe.
Credits sequence just perfect fleshed out people you hardly knew while keeping a somber tone just wish there was a extra credits part where you could free roam as TLAS and use a computer to hear SEYER's own message

I played multiplayer and it's got the CoD syndrome of you need to die because you have shit gear until you earn enough XP to get the good stuff. Once you get the good stuff, it's super fun and fluid.
I like how the losing team has a chance to get to an evac ship before the round ends, and while it can be destroyed, if you make it on you still feel great despite being a fucking loser.

Titanfall 2's campaign was the best I'd played in a while--probably my favorite since MW2.

The controls are nearly flawless. On top of that, I enjoyed the fact that you spend most of it alone (as in, no dumb AI squadmates stepping into your line of fire), but that's a personal preference.

I'd also recommend checking out Infinite Warfare's campaign. I originally got it for MW Remastered, but the campaign is actually quite good (though I've heard the multiplayer is average, at best). I thought Infinity Ward did a good job of capturing the experience of being in a military unit, and the gameplay stays pretty grounded while still allowing you to wallrun and shit like that.

You get the robot to carry the big guns, say a flamethrower or Mk. 19, and then let it soak up the enemy fire.
