Nice fucking link

That link looks sketchy as fuck
>>
Thats what happens when you build ships out of fucking aluminium and BALSA WOOD
>>
Take note everybody, these are the average /k/ posters.
>>
>>32116159
Actually it's what happens when you run a rotating screw into a solid object, shit breaks and amazingly enough the propellor shaft is fairly easy to upset in just about any vessel. Captain Kirk should feel retarded though, running into a dock.
>>
>>32116195
Why are they firing captains over stuff like this

Try again. Also, it didn't break down, but got one of its screw propeller damaged.

unless he's been told to break it enough that it can be sent for repair/quietly sold off or mothballed and end the ongoing fiasco.
t. guy who has just considered that he may actually need a tinfoil hat.

Yeah, I don't that website is something to be considered reliable.

China has money.

Like, actual money. And they have industries that actually are subject to the politics and not their own commercial interests.
>>

Stop lying senpai desu the zumwalt is fine
Here read this article :
>"Officials from the pentagon said the ship is perfectly fine and will join orbit to destroy the death star as planned in february 31, 2017."

America is lying through their teeth again.

Impressive

China has great quality control. Each worker knows the value of defending the motherland and their culture. This is different from American workers who put capitalism in front and does not care about their muddled culture that is too mixed up that it gives them no joy in defending their history.
>>
>>32116260
Cheaper than firing railgun projectiles
>>
>>32117301
>>32117035
China also doesn't have the people to man them.
>>
>>32117301
also, China id building ships because they don't know what else to do. There is so much corruption in those shipyards because the government owns those shipyards and while they might not like the US, they sure will take USD off the top meant for the military.
>>
>>32117301
China followed the strategy of small steps.

Until the 052D destroyer they designed and built smaller classes to gain the necessary experience.

Now over 12 052D destroyers are planned, a large fleet of 055 cruisers and they are doing the same with the carriers.

It's a different approach of a comitee designed "gamechanger".

Yeah, it's called catching up to what the Russian and American navies had 30 years ago.
>>
>>32120030
And now?

It's an effective and systematic approach to modernize your fleet.
And now China enjoys the adventages of a late adopter like installing AESA radars on their ships.

That's a nice warship you've got there, would be a real shame if something bumped into it
>>
>>32120077
>It's an effective and systematic approach to modernize your fleet.

Building a fleet that you never had is not modernizing an existing fleet.

>And now China enjoys the adventages of a late adopter like installing AESA radars on their ships.

A short term 'benefit' vastly outweighed by a lack of experience in modern naval operations.

>“She could have used swear words in a public setting, or squinted when the sun was in her eyes and offended a nearby Asian-American sailor,” said a Navy JAG officer, who spoke with Duffel Blog on condition of anonymity. “The Navy really takes a hard stance on these out of control commanders. Maybe she passed gas on the bridge- who knows?”
>>
>>32120233
That are some kneejerk reactions.

China has now the adventage that their destroyer fleet isn't based on a shipdesign from the 80's.
It also doesn't suffer from the fact that the Burke class is suddenly in charge of replacing the larger Ticonderoga cruisers with subpar results.

China's apprach has been impressive and effevtive so far.

The joke is that chinkshills are like the best ones in providing informations about military hardware.
One need to take account their enthusiasm but they are like the best bunch of posters of people here.

Meanwhile US posters are for the most time just do kneejerk reactions and silly you are a shill posts.
>>
ITT: Butthurt amerishits.
>>
>>32120416

>All this bench racing.

Doesn't mean shit until the war goes hot.

When chinamen are drowning left and right because they have zero real war experience since 1953, where will the shills recoil to?
>>
>>32120502
>The joke is that chinkshills are like the best ones in providing informations about military hardware.

The irony is that is the joke, and they get super butthurt when you call out propaganda they regurgitate.
>>
>>32116098
It would have to remain operational for extended periods in order to do that.
>>
>>32120521
>When chinamen are drowning left and right because they have zero real war experience since 1953, where will the shills recoil to?

Neither does the US Navy.

The last larger scale conflict with navy units was the Falkland War.
>>
>>32120523
>call out

You are a shill isn't calling someone out.
>>
>>32120521
>When chinamen are drowning left and right because they have zero real war experience since 1953, where will the shills recoil to?

That's the adventage if you serve on a Zumwalt destroyer because if you jump left and right from the ship you are in a port for maintanance again.
>>
>>32116159
The thing looks like it's covered in 16 gauge sheet metal.
>>
>>32120681
That's normal.
