Glockfag here but a question to you vp9 owners. Does the mac torture test bother you guys at all? I've held a vp9 and dry fired it a couple of times and I will say it has a nice fit and finish with a good trigger. I've even read that before the Texas DPS chose the sig p320 that the vp9 outperformed all of the other pistols in the endurance tests but wanted a compact and subcompact options for plainclothes concealment.

From what I've seen people were responding to the claim that the vp9 fails in water. However there were some from hkpro and others who subjected their vp9 to clay, mud, dirt, etc. The results were similar to MAC's.

So if you want a battle proven, reliable hk look at the USP or the other hammer fired hk.

Personally, I live in AZ, so rain really wasn't an issue. I fell in love with it, when I had the chance to shoot it, as well as the glock brand pistols. Everything was immensely smooth, and I wanted a good out of the box platform, for a reasonable price of max 650. Albeit, next pistol will probably be a CZ 85 or a Ruger LCR.
