>>32114682

>>32114682
I dunno, something with serrations maybe so it looks totally badass
and cool colors, like those multicolor metals
I like my Boker Urban Trapper, though I'm buying a 940bk in like 10 minutes.
How's Benchmade's blade coating hold up?
>>32114760
2/10
>>32114760
Bruh serrations kinda suck. And most multicolor knives are cheap China shit. Just go on bladehq and punch in your budget in the filter and browse around till you find something you dig and cop it

Cold Steel Broken Skull
>$80
>CTS-XHP
>Tri-Ad Lock
>Lightweight
>>32114262
Tech the blade didn't fail. The handle did. Perfect time to take a good blade, make your own handle for it.
>>32114790
>$80
my mom won't be willing to spend that much on a knife anon

>>32114821
Like what? Depends what your everyday life and what you wear everyday. Do you do a lot of cutting, is stabbing someone a problem you think you might encounter? Is opening a letter the most demanding thing you need a knife for?
>>32114844
Idk i want sugestions

That is mall ninja tier garbage.

Man you sound like a colossal faggot who gives 0 constructive input. Fuck off back to /out/, there's absolutely nothing wrong with cold steel. A large number of trail guides use their blades.

Unless you specify what you intend to use the knife for, there is no way to give a good recommendation.
EDC can mean different things for different people. Tell us what kind of cutting tasks you come across most of the time.
Do you have any existing preferences? Heavy duty? Light weight? Size? Looks? Opening mechanism?
Are there any restrictions in your local laws?
That'll give us a good starting point.
>>32115433
>Thinking something as trivial as lock strength makes for a good knife.
confirmed for being a know-nothing cunt
inb4 Sebenza guy
>all this painted-black chinese garbage
stop.
>>32116160
>lock strength
>trivial
Hey kiddo, you want a knife in that price range? Buy a cold steel, a crkt, and a spyderco. Or another three manufactures mentioned here. A lot of the guys throwing out names have owned and loved what that manufacturer has put out. Spend the money on several different manufacturers, and get the experience to shitpost with everyone else. Except sbenza guy, that is a special type right there
>>32116318
If you're using your knife in a way that a simple liner lock is gonna fail on you then you have no idea how to properly use a folding knife.
The only real advantage locking knives have over slipjoints is that they allow for faster and easier one handed deployment since they don't rely on friction so much.
I would make an exception for tactical knives because you would need to thrust with those. But then again, using a folding knife as a weapon is just plain retarded.
