/k/ommandos what is the best choice of ar for about $700?
>>32113618
S&W MP15 is probably the best choice, because at sub $1k building an ar usually gets you the same quality as just buying something
As for whether it's the one you'd like that's up to you.
Babby's first AR was a 16" windham for $650 and shortly after a used fn15a2 for $750

GOAT!
I threw together a PSA out of the cheapest assembled lower/upper/bcg they had. 16" barrel, mid length gas system, magpul moe stock and grip.
Put it through a class and some 3 Gun. Over 1,000 rounds through with no malfunctions. Ammo has all been Wolf Gold. Mags are magpul (Gen 2 and 3), Lancer L5awm, Troy battlemag, and USGI mags with magpul followers.
As mentioned, S&W, or, the Ruger AR 556. Only downside to the Ruger is its proprietary delta ring. I have one and it's been great so far. I upgraded the stock and handguard to Magpul, but other than that it's been G2G shooting Wolf Gold.

I recently got a Radical and have put about 1000 rounds though it. I haven't had a single problem or malfunction shooting American Eagle. I'm very happy especially when I only payed $600. Would recommend

what'S the accuracy? is a free floated barrel? pics?
>>32114346
Fucking calm down, I was driving back from texas. The metal in the BCG is shitty pot metal, and their barrels are iffy. The ones I've fired have felt really good and had good QC though

So I'd say go ahead and get one, but be prepared to spend a little money down the line.
aimsurplus has a basic ar15 with an trijicon MRO red dot for $820
>tfw shitty delton sport
>>32115316
damn, so the ar is worth $400?
>>32113618
LFA LF556.
t. LFA shill
save $100 and buy a 6920 or an FN
>>32115339
thats about how much a barebones AR is worth
Wait a couple months until the market completely takes a shit because Republicans control the government and there's no more panic buying except in California which no one outside of California cares about.
