What makes I.O Industries so bad? I

hear a lot of bad things about them, specifically about the RAS 47 and their cast parts, but never much of anything else they make. Have they ever made any decent products or have they always been a shoddy manufacturer?

On a side note,a while back I heard about I.O getting a bunch of BM59 parts kits that they intend on building with US barrels and receivers.

>RAS 47

Aren't those made by Century Arms?
>>
>>32095967
That's cool. I'd buy BM59. They won't fuck it up.
>>
>>32095939
horrendous build quality

They are. I work at large retailer and I have to tell people in a roundabout way that they need to look at either Yugos or something else in our inventory because I can't bring myself to recommend those rifles to anyone. I swear to god corporate just looks at AKs in that price point and buys them without checking if they're junk or not.
>>
>>32095939

Better then DDI at least, lifetime warranty.
>>
>>32096060
Whats the point of a lifetime warranty if the rifle just blows up? Shit, I just saved my money at that point and went with the Arsenal.

My bad, all these cheap american ak's kinda blend into blob in my mind.
>>
>>32095939
Are they not breaking any consumer safety laws?
>>
>>32095939
the only good io products are the ones where they were strictly an importer and didnt touch a damn thing.
>>
>>32096197
except where they put there import mark
