Its worth a watch, gives a good perspective on something that isnt touched on alot since most WW2 cinema is Anglo-centric.

It focuses alot more on relationships than on actual battle scenes, but I think that this is more a product of it being a purely European production than anything.

I liked it. It's no Band of Brothers, but stands well on its own. More emphasis on character progression, but overall gave what I imagine was a good sense of what it's like to be a German soldier who (unlikely) survived throughout the war.

I liked how the two brothers swapped roles by the end. The Jew partisan story arc was kinda meh, but whatever. Quality series.
