Country is irrelevant really, import is easy. Just want an idea of the custom shops in western & central euroland.

I'm toying with the idea of a custom Glock 19C, kinda like a Glock 19C MOS with extended barrel, bull nose and front serrations, lightened slide,...
A personal take on the Roland Special, I guess.

I've got some local shops that'll gladly do the machining etc, but they don't focus on glocks at all. A real custom gunsmith that has experience with dos and donts of glocks would be better.

It's plenty relevant as some european countries completely ban possession of handguns. This affects services surrounding them.l

There's nothing particularly special about glock slides, at least in comparison to other handgun slides. Most gunsmiths (at least here in the US) should be able to do what you're asking. The implication I'm getting from your post is that the "shops" you're referencing are just general machinists and not actual (ie, licensed) gunsmiths.

Well, not really. I own many guns, and have no issue getting the required permits for ownership & import. So if there's a gun shop in the EU, I can have them export what I need just fine?

In my area, a gunsmith is not someone that can install parts. It's someone that can actually machine custom parts he needs to make a gun run or to modify it as requested.

I know some locally, and have had custom machining done on some parts & adapters. While they tend to do a good job, their range tends to be limited and none really offers a "full" package of expertise that I would be comfortable with when it comes to barrel mods, slide mods, and refinishing.

The annoying bit about what I want done is that I want a longer barrel on the G19 (say like a threaded barrel but without threads) and have it vented both at the standard 19C location and the part that extends past the slide. Since a G17 locking block is different from the G19, it can't be used. So finding a suitable barrel might be a pain.

Hence the specific question about Glock custom shops. They would have an easier time getting a threaded barrel without threading, no doubt.

Anyway, the barrel you want can be bought off the shelf online as can the slide, which most gunsmiths should be able to modify without any problem. So I don't see what the issue is.

In the US, yes. But I can find only one source in the EU so far. So I'd like more options.

So back to the original question: Do you guys know any glock centric custom shops in the EU?

There's companies that specialize in shipping that type of stuff legally. It's mostly a lot of paperwork though, so it's a pain.
