Looks clean anon, how many miles? How does it do off-road?
I should have mentioned in the OP 2016 F-150 I love it. Need to move out of Texas though and take it to the mountains.
don't even try to deny it losers
>>32086918
>How does it do off-road?
Fully inflated tires on sand, he wouldn't know. Long wheel base trucks suck off road.
2016 F-150 XLT extended cab... wouldn't even call it a war wagon desu, just takes me to the range, hauls things nicely, and is pretty comfy.
I might buy a Mazda B-Series or Ranger if I wanted to rice it out and make it tacticool.

catch me if you can :^)
>>32087125
around 160k, and I've never had it off-road.
>>32087140
I was the OP asking the chevy. I didn't have my tires inflated because that beach I drove down was super packed due to weekend traffic, I didn't drive far enough to hit the soft stuff(and would have deflated tires).

Nice choice.

Not a very high bar, my girlfriend's Prius can do that.
This is my trail blazer. It's I6 is unbelievably tourquey, and with about 270 HP, she gets up and goes. Has gotten me through anything I've put it through, from sand to snow to mud. I need to name her though. I just haven't come up with anything that fits, would /k/ like to help me name her?

I know some of the Frontiers had computers in the transmission that would go bad. And coolant getting in them too from the radiator or some shit. Not sure if they all do, but they do go bad... and are a bitch to swap out. I'd avoid them.

Daily reminder that a full-size, truck-frame SUV is the absolute best vehicle to own for /k/-related anything.
>large cargo capacity
>large person capacity
>large towing capacity
>extremely large aftermarket
>comfortable for long-haul driving, handles well, rides smooth
>generally fast, accelerate very well
>biggest ones available with diesel engines
>can be up-armored, commercial armor packages available for most (if you have the money)
>same or better gas mileage when compared to Tacoma/Hilux/4Runner
Yes, they're IFS. Yes, they have a long wheel base. Yes, many of them are only available with automatic transmissions. These only matter to sport offroaders, they will get anywhere you could reasonably need to be while having the space to get all your shit and buddies there with you.
>b-but muh narrow trails!
Yukon XL is only 2" wider than 4Runner. If 2 inches will make or break you getting somewhere you probably won't get there regardless of what vehicle you're in.
>b-but muh short wheel base!
If you bottom out or get hung up, you have skid plates and winches at both ends.
>b-but muh tallybannanans used [X] to great effect!
They literally could've stuck a dude with an RPG on a unicycle and did as well. This is a shit metric.
>b-but muh reliability!
1. Everything breaks eventually, having something literally every mechanic in the hemisphere knows how to work on matters
2. Not really when compared to any import made in the last 10 years, especially since the "good" vehicles you autists like to drool over (Land Rover, Hilux) aren't available here.

It's 2016, international shipping exists. I can't run down to the Napa store and pick up a new part but there is a large following of aftermarket upgrades (airbox, muffler, etc) easily available in a quick google search. I've ordered parts from Poland and Russia for very reasonable prices and never had any issues finding anything I needed. Mostly it's just cosmetic shit but I needed to replace a few gaskets a while back and it was cheap to get them shipped from Russia.
>>32088584
Toyota is domestic, has been for decades

I'm sorry, but I'm not risking my financial ruin over a head gasket that should be $20 at NAPA, or waiting 17 months for some Uzbekistani to steal one off his constable's bike, hike the 300km to the nearest post office, and mail the fucker least-priority.

It's been a great truck. It's done a lot of work. Kinda getting to the tail end of its life now. Been struggling a little more recently with towing.
>>32093728
Retire it from work and keep it in good shape mayne.
>>32093770
>Retire it from work
Only a matter of time. Think it'll be replaced with a current body style 2500hd with the 6.0 Vortec.
>>32092496

The funny thing is, that RV is the most offroad-capable of the lot.
>tfw first vehicle was a 1988 Econoline work van with the 7.5L V8, and aftermarket 4WD conversion (got it from railroad co. auction)
The cab weighed nothing so even though it was literally a box on wheels it was nearly impossible to roll, it had *amazing* power and torque, and coupled with the 54gal main and 33gal secondary tanks it came (to me) with I had an easy 700 mile range even with its abysmal gas mileage.
>>32092862
It ain't an economy car. If you can't afford to gas the thing, buy tires & maintain it, it's NOT for you.
>>32086918
OP are you from corpus christi, tx?
>>32093939
Depends on the car. Got roughly $4000 off the frs (paid just at $21k, msrp was $25500) and the rav4, which is a limited awd hybrid, I got about $7k off, $29k. If I end up buying a tundra, I'm looking at around $9-11k off, depending on trim level. It's really just instant equity, even if I were to finance it.

Literally all I need to finish my jeep collection would be a jeep truck like yours and a jeep van.

Get a dirtymax.
I got a 2001 Ford explorer sport track. got 250,000 miles on it and it's still going pretty good. Ran it off the road about a year ago so I gotta do some body work on it between the crash and the body rust, which I'm gonna do this spring, then I'm taking it out west.
>>32099537
You should watch how much you drink anon
>>32099554
Wasn't even drunk, just hit a bad patch of ice and slid off. Took out a mailbox and a road sign. Also probably didn't help I was going off of around 3 hours of sleep.
>>32087177
how do you have an 06 that still runs?
>>32087229
save your money and buy slightly used. Silverados run forever so there is no need to buy brand new.

they are only like 7000$, Im getting one soon
Would love to have this.
spic here, back in 2011 i once saw a convoy of up to a hundred federal police trucks all filled to the brim with officers pass trough my town and headed into the local cartel held ranches. the next day only about 9 came back , two with plastic tarps covering what were obviously bodies.
So, yeah. It doesn't come with the cool factor of a CV, and it's not as comfy as a Town Car. But it's roomy, it's reasonably powerful, and it's a few exhaust pieces away from having a little more power.
So the question: Keep the suspension stock, swap for CVPI, or swap for Marauder?
Ready for battle.

MY MAN.
I bought an SR before I bought the GS. Mine has kick and electric start. A single fuse. This would survive an EMP, no problem.
