I live next to Canberra in New South Wales. Canberra has its own territory like Washington, D.C. and suppressors aren't allowed because there's "no genuine reason" recognised, but they are in NSW.

A year or two ago, it came out that the government contractors who did the annual kangaroo cull had been hired from NSW and had to use suppressors because it was done near the urban area, so not only did the government break the law, they also proved the law wrong by their own requirements.

I just found out in Iowa, you can concealed-carry an automatic knife with a CC permit.

Plus, Iowa is a hotbed for concealed-carry permits. Fucking everybody wants one. There's waiting lists in some cities because there just aren't enough classes/seats to meet demand.

If anyone wants a laugh look up New York assault rifle definition. I lived there for a while, bought a black powder pistol, buddy bought a black powder revolver. The law there is roughly you can own the gun OR the ammo, but there is literally no way to check.
