Why no muzzle device?

By the way it's chambered in .243

The dot sight is not going to be permanent, but eventually i'm still only going to have 1.5x zoom. I don't feel like this alternative configuration (alternative to DMR style) is going to hold the gun back, but rather explore other ways of operating with a PTR. It can always be affixed otherwise, but why the hell not have this kind of fun with your gear.
