Ya, they are alright. A bit heavy and bulky. The fact that it is a monocular that you look through with both eyes is a bit off putting and gives you even worse depth perception compared to a monocle like a PVS-14.
PVS-14 is much better.

Me and friends used to use night vision to paintball at night.

It sorta worked. Former Soviet equipment. Needed to either hold the monocole housing or the paintball marker.
