I ordered an Aero Precision stripped lower at the last minute on November 7th for about $99 shipped, just for the hell of it. They're already on sale at several places locally for $80 now that the election was "crisis averted," but I don't think I got too screwed over. It arrived at my FFL last Saturday.

Got my 80% and jig/bits a few days ago. Think it came on Saturday because it was in my apartment when I came home on Sunday night (spent the weekend at MWNF).

Haven't decided if I'm going to buy a little drill press and router (the two would run me about $200) or get a 80% 1911 frame w/ jig/bits (more expensive at about $300). I'm leaning towards the 1911 because I don't own a 1911 yet and I don't have to worry about drill presses or routers being banned any time soon.

I ordered pre-election and wanted a little more golden tiger in case there would be another drought like there was about a year ago.

I also wanted to try out some different brands of .357 mag to see how they compare to the PPU and Fed American stuff I usually shoot. The American stuff is pretty warm for a bulk factory load and makes the PPU feel like 38 special.

I got my panic buys a month ago, I ran out of money for them by early October.
