Are Tru-spec pants yay or nay?
I have an offer to buy three brand-new pairs for about $130, is it worth it?
What do you need that a pair of blue jeans won't accomplish for cheaper.

Smart Fabric that's mositure wicking yet insulative. Reinforced, articulate knee and crotch for added manuverability and durability . Sometimes rubberized knee pads. Depends how fancy you are.

As a cycle-commuter, my sit-bones wear holes through blue jeans in about a month. I've got 3 pair of tru-spec pants that don't even show thinning fabric in the seat after over a year.

I guess I'd just wear my old Cammie bottoms. Which I only do when I hunt.
Anything else is pleb tier.

If it's just the regular bdu style pants you're better off getting original surplus ones or propper. Tru spec pants fade really bad, especially dark colors like blue

TruSpec is love, OP. I bought a pair of BDUs from them almost two years ago and there's practically no wear at all. VERY comfy, plus the Tigerstripe camo pattern I got it in is sexy af. I paid $59.99 for one pair so $130 for 3 is a good deal (If they're in your size lol).
