I got stung by a red wasp just forward of my temple, near the corner of my eye when I was a kid. Whole fucking eye swelled shit for a couple hours. They rate it a 4/5 for pain but it never seemed like it hurt THAT much. We had shitloads of them though so I would get hit by one every couple months.
