General thoughts on this sight? I'm thinking of putting it on an AR pistol but it seems like it would need a riser. There aren't any real complaints about it--seems too good to be true.

Fine for pistol ranges. Ive read some issues with mud getting in the top between lenses. Otherwise very nice.

That's a newfag setup. You gotta stack 3 on your rifle.

I've wanted one for a long time now. I haven't heard anything bad about them, so I assume they're pretty good.

SPBP
Works well on 20mm out to 60-70 yards.

Got one, its totally dope. Damn thing is built like a tank too, way worth the price point. Get the night sight version, its marginally more expensive. I can tell you I like my regular seeall better than my vortex red dot

what do you use it on anon, pistol?

Hallway guy?
Is this a pistol thing or is it good on rifles too?
I put one on my Beowulf because I don't think anything else can handle the recoil. It works pretty nice

I have one of the 1.5gen ones on my M4gery. It's great for fast shooting at short ranges, but it does need a riser to see over a standard FSB. It's great as a backup sight, or a shotgun sight. I wouldn't use it as my primary though, only doing so because I'm too poor to buy an optic for this rifle. Would probably be perfect for an AR pistol, since you're not going to hit jack or shit anyways and they benefit from longer eye relief.

Are these precise enough for ~100 meter use on a brush gun ala express sights? they look really comfy

>newfag try hard

I'd say so. I've used mine out to about 200 yards on aforementioned M4gery and been able to pop bowling pins pretty consistently for what that's worth. It's certainly a step up from the kind of irons you typically get on a lever gun.

Clearly satire, the fail is why it's funny
I wish they would make one you could slot on top of an ACOG with a very low profile.
How would this be as an offset backup for a scope?

If you want it on an ar sbr or rifle, you need a 1" riser. It could work on an ar pistol without a riser though. The one thing that bothers me with this particular sight is that it is made for people with 20/20 vision or corrected vision. I need glasses to see the recticle clear and sharp, otherwise its workable but fuzzy around the edges. Its a personal problem and nothing I hold against see all sight, but something people should be aware of.

Why do you need a riser for it?

Earwelds aren't fun, I suspect.
