Yeah, I'm not fond of the tan, personally. The green is more OD, but it was layered on top of the tan which made it come out crappy.
I'm gonna try to find more earthy browns and tans to use with my greens. I've considered doing anothing AR where the top has more brown and more green towards the bottom to simulate a tree.

Depends on the roll mark. The spider is cringeworthy, but some are okay. A lower is a lower for all intents and purposes. I've had good success with PSA stuff, and there's a million spike's/Anderson builds out there. Find the roll mark you think is the coolest and go from there.

Bipod and vertical grip together work great for me on my deer rifle. Bipod lets me set it down in the blind without it getting muddy, and the vertical grip helps with my offhand shooting if I need to take a shot on the way in or out of the blind.
