Stuck between Ranger Green and Wolf Grey.

Ranger Green: moving to PNW soon so would blend better

Wolf Grey: AESTHETIC as fuck

Urban comes in third as to not attract too much attention but doubt I could justify it
>>
>>32000268
Go green. Grey exist only because manufacturers want to sell you more stuff and that urban style doesn't help you blend any better than the other ones, because the design is still military oriented.
>>
Rangers Lead The Way, there grey-man.
>>
>>32000268
Gray rhymes with gay. Go green.

Now that there's a pack thread, I might as well post this. It's a prototype of a new Savotta ruck.
>Aluminium frame
>Volume at least 60 liters
>Weight 2.45 kg
>1000D PU Cordura
>IR protected
>Rolltop
>Price around 300€
>Made in Finland
Should be available during spring. I think I'll start saving.
>>
Can anyone suggest a small pack? I'm interested in something relatively small/flat for minor outdoor stuff, where I'm not carrying too much other than water and basic gear. I've been looking around but I'm not sure what brands are good/bad.
>>

I got a LBT 3 day pack and I really like it. Pic related it's more subdued grey in person. Both Ranger Green and Wolf Grey are good choices. I go to school so wanted something more subtle/less tacticool and when I move back to the city it'll be more practical I think.

I love my Tactical Tailor fight light bag, small yet large enough to carry all my shit plus extra if need be.
>>
>>32002265
I got a SOG Ninja bag, its pretty good. Not good for much else than daypack stuff but it might be what you're looking for. I got mine for likr $35 off Amazon but check your local sports store they might have some.

I've had this for a few months and I'm very happy with it. It's around 30 liters, doesn't weigh much and the build quality is as good as it gets. There's also a black and M05 version.

>>32005994
Most camera backpacks. They're usually not as tough as military backpacks but tough enough for most. Tamrac, Manfrotto, Lowepro...
If you want the best build quality, Billingham is probably the best choice.

Black is fine too. Just not good for forests.
>>
>>32004187
Tan is acceptable even in forests. Just use a tiny bit of fieldcraft. You know, some leaves n shit nigga.
>>
>>32006481
Black isn't good for anything.

Everyday life and urban environment.
>>
>>32006546
...well, yes.
>>
>>32006538
It really isn't. You can see someone on a moonless night running across a field or desert from a pretty good distance clearly because it contrasts so heavily.
>>
>>32006572
Yeah, but can also play swat team dressups with your bf
>>
>>32000268
Whatever you get post a review. Been thinking about picking one of these up for awhile now.
>>
>>32006546
It's not like you're concealing anything. It's an assault pack with PALS webbing all over it.
>>
>>32006609
Pretty common where I live.

Go with earth tones for practicality or a civilian backpack for muh spooky greyman.
>>
>>32006538
>>
>>32007206
It isn't. In camo at least. Effective break up and contrast can be achieved using saturated browns and greens.
>>
>>32006404
What is that?
>>
>>32006706

Like being able to deny that your son dindu nuttin?

>>32004173
Can that hold up to a 13-14" laptop? Is the bottom a thicker material, something that rough edge on binders and stuff wont easily wear though?
>>
>>32000268
Coyote is the superior camo. It works in the dessert and forests
>>
My ideas on bail bags have changed a lot since the BOB resurgence of 2012. I'm becoming less interested in "everything you need to live off grid for 3 days" and more interested in get from point a to point b. Smaller and smaller, less and less conspicuous, lighter and faster. My gear set up is approaching complete containment in 1st line and an old camelback mule
>>
>>32009157

That's how I use to think. Use to have this big 30 pound bag. Over time as I become more skilled and knowledge, the bag slowly shrinks. Now I just carry a lil 5.11 push bag, that has all the shit I need.
>>
>>32000268

the grey one looks cool.
nobody gives a shit if your pack has molle on it or not.
at this point it's just a fashion statement

Uh, people judge you if you're wearing molle. I've heard it from veterans and random college students.

Brown and green works fine. Honestly no one gives a shit you have a molle pack anymore. Shit is in style or is just seen as practical by most civvies. Unless you're also dressed tacticool, it shouldn't raise eyebrows too much.
>>
>>32010839
Then they're being faggots. Fuck em. Molle is practical. Need more space or place to put something? stick a molle pouch on or lash it through the straps.

I didn't realize having it on my pack made me stolen valor. Still better than the overpriced Herschel shit people gravitate towards.I see people with straight up surplus ILBE and Molle assault packs and no one gives a shit. Why? cuz it's a fucking backpack.
