Unfortunately, living in AZ, it seems prop 205 failed. Now, I'm not a big pot smoker by any regard, but it's nice to light one up while playing games or for sexy times, every once in a while.

Problem is, Pot is a felony in AZ, and I prefer guns over weed any day, but I'm interested in perhaps investing in a medical card. I know you "can't" have the two, but is there any way anyone would ever find out?

TL;DR I want to smoke the devil's lettuce and also have my guns

Buy what you want before you get your card, Then you'll just have to buy from private sellers.
>>
>>31983962
They can find out by doing a blood test on you because of THC being in your blood for thirty days which is what causes you to get high from legit weed

Get vapor and use CBD that doesn't have THC in it

That way you get the same benefits but downside is not getting high but it won't be in your blood so you won't be discarded from owning guns

Also it's legal and no card is needed

Will an FFL be able to look up whether or not you have a mmj card? Is it any way that data is transferred to anyone else except for Marijuana "agency"?
>>

ATF cancer
>>
>>31983984
THC doesn't bust you, it's the things also present.

Read up potdude.

OP I'd pick one or the other, as a guy who smoked for 6+ years and gave it up for guns.
>>
>>31984049
I don't know how it is in your state but, a NICS check in Texas is quite literally just sending a few of the required fields on 4473 to the FBI, and waiting for "proceed" "delay" or "denial" response. If you check yes to anything on 11b through 11l we cannot by law transfer a firearm to you. If you answer 11a through 11l correctly we send the check and just wait for the response. So if the FBI has access to who uses marijuana medicinally, and they do their jobs, they'll probably send a denial response. You can call the FBI to protest your result just make sure you have your NTN number. Maybe the law will change in the coming months but I wouldn't count on it. Most of the legal language on 4473 is a result of the Brady Bill.
>>
Will this affect me in Florida?
>>
>>31984095
That's what I'm curious as to find out, whether the FBI has access to medical mj info in AZ. I can't find anything usefull on google.
>>
>>31983962

Just buy the shit illegally until the next election cycle. I live in VA and it ain't gunna be legal for awhile but fuck em. Now that it's legal in Cali I'm gunna buy vac-sealed bags of that good Humboldt shit instead of mids in disguise like we normally get.
>>
>>31984012
>unlawful user
>uses legally

Well, if big daddy government says I can't put X plant into my body, boy howdy I better not do it. They sure do know best. Now excuse me while I tend to my hemlock plants that are perfectly legal to grow and consume
>>
>>31984223
I would, but I already had to expunge a felony from my record, and I'm in no hurry to do it again.
>>
>>31984286
What'd you do?
>>
Just don't smoke. You said you weren't a big smoker, so what's the big deal if you don't smoke?

Besides. Marijuana and guns don't mix.
>>
>>31984309
Caught in dorms with pot, had a card, but "federal" property, led to shenanigans.
>>
>>31984326
It's not the end of the world, but I'm at the point where I'd like to smoking more often, and not go to jail for it
>>
>>31984282
Trump, especially his kids, are very pro 2nd amendment. He is also pro medical marijuana. Some vets use marijuana for pain and ptsd. Maybe he'll change that
>>
>>31984353
Then all I can tell you is don't get caught.

Frankly, I would advise against smoking entirely. It's not good for you, and frankly there is no telling if Trump is going to lay the hammer down on states "legalizing" pot. It's a lot more trouble than it's worth.
>>
>>31984347
This is why the federal government needs to stay out of the prohibition business

Prohibition is about as effective as gun control at stopping crime

>>
>>31983984

Weed doesn't stay in your system for 30 days unless you're smoking it all the time like a nigger or are fat. If you take only a few hits once a week, drink fuck tons of water (which you should be doing anyways), and aren't bound to your computer chair on 4chan youll piss clean in two weeks.
>>
>>31983962

Or colorado, we have weed and guns here, just buy your mags out if state, or buy them as rebuild kits once you're here.
>>
>>31984222
Yes they do.

If it is in a state or local database, they have access to it.

>>31984326
I-i'm totally not addicted guise! I'm just super fucking asspained I can't do it and will suffer horrible horrible withdrawals until I can smoke again in 18 hours! Marijuana is totally not habit-forming guise, ignore all my Weed Culture clothing and paraphernelia!
>>
>>31985547
You sound a bit asspained yourself, friend.
>>
>>31985547
Do you have any sources to back this up? This is essentially what I'm looking for.

>>31985529
Didn't consent to shit, got ratted out by a cuck RA and they had a warrant.
>>
>>31985946
>do you have any sources to back this up?
Yes.

Every state that issues a weed card (either rec or medical) maintains a database of who they issued it to.

Every federal enforcement agency (FBI, CIA, DIA, DEA, CBP, US Marshals) either has open access to the metadata from every database, or can subpoena or search via warrant individual records.

Medical cards are protected via HIPAA in every state that issues a medical card (since HIPAA is a federal law that protects any and all medical information). Recreational cards are not.

The two states that I am familiar with the laws on recreational use (OR and CO), they do maintain a database of recreational purchasers for those without weed cards (you have to show a valid government-issued ID card to buy from a dispensary). These are protected by state law, but can still be subpoena'd or searched with a warrant.

There are currently two lawsuits filed by the Federal government against states with a legalized marijuana system (CA and WA, both suits are over medical use). During the process, CA was subpoena'd for the entire list of everyone ever issued a medical card. So far there have been no arrests made in conjunction with this investigation, but the info is now out and available to every Federal agency.

Furthermore, the entirety of WA's weed card databases were leaked by a WA state employee last year, and was at least briefly available on wikileaks.

>>
>>31986103
So what's causing the pain?

Is there any way for the cause of the pain to be treated, instead of treating the symptom?
>>
>>31986396
trauma from car accident

the surgeries to fix it are more dangerous than the condition I'm in. no point desu. nerve anesthetics every 2 weeks help a bit but it's never enough. the tolerance I developed for opiates really fucked me.
>>
>>31986416
Yah, that tolerance is why I asked.

Spinal injury? Cuz...honestly, everything else the risk is worth it IMO. I'm in a similar circumstance, got my leg crushed when an IED flipped my truck in Iraq. It's mostly usable now but always feels like someone's pouring lava over it due to extensive nerve damage. Which is still an improvement from where it was. Next step is amputation when I develop enough of a tolerance to fetanyl, since I've been through all the other opioids.

cbd does help with pain. I have scoliosis so my upper back is permanently fucked, spine curves to the side and I can feel the cold nerves being pinched on bad days.
the cannabinoids other than thc had the best effect for me, the pain is still there but it somehow helps with the psychological load of having the pain, and somehow helps me from lashing out at people i love from the pain.

the only people who get addicted to weed are some younger people who smoke it wayy too much and have no self control, forming really bad everyday habits with it
, older manchildren with no lives anyway and people who have mental health issues that leave them predisposed to developing addictions to anything.
Its a lie to say its not addictive, but its bullshit to say its a monster

It's posts like these that really let you know how utterly powerless the feds feel now that like 25% of the country told them to fuck off over pot.

To anybody wondering...they're not going to drug test you after a DGU, or come after you for having a medical card, or any other stupid shit. By the time they even get a warrant to peek at the medical card records, the shit will have been made legal nationwide due to the number of jurisdictions refusing to enforce.
>>
>>31984049
No. I know guys with CA cards that have bought guns in AZ and it never came up when their 4473 was submitted. Also, just because you have a card doesn't mean you actually smoke. In reality, there is no way for them to know unless there is some form of criminal record involving it.

In Nevada, our medical card is part of our driver's license. I don't know how other states else handle the licensing of patients, but if you're required to have your MMJ card as part of your state ID, then forget ever buying a gun from an FFL or getting a CCW permit. You'll be denied so fucking quick, and on the spot.

You have to decide what you like more: guns or drugs.

I picked guns myself.
