Recent Acquisition Thread. Just picked up this Winchester 1897, can't wait to slam fire a few rounds
My most recent was this Winchester 1894 made in 1950 for $400

Oh dang nice, how much did it run you?
Ordered a Browning X-Bolt synthetic in .22-250. Nothing special, but it's my first real centerfire rifle.

$450
$150 from a local pawnshop. Gonna lose the safety, refinish, put on new grips and front sight. Not for defense, strictly a range toy project, cuz I love the round.
First handgun

Gotta say, I feel bad for the lads who posted in a recent acquisitions thread a couple threads back saying that they'd stockpiled AR lowers and ammo for the panic buy after Hillary's victory. On the other hand, they now have a bunch of guns and ammo.
My most recent acquisition was a Sig P210-1 for target shooting. Gonna take it on a competition this tuesday, 12 rounds at 50m (total of 60 points) and hoping to keep over 50. We'll see.

Got one of these for my wife recently

And this for myself
I got this frankenraifu used at my LGS yesterday and have a Tanfoglio Witness Elite Match in 10mm in waiting-period jail.
>yes the A2 rear sight without the full carry handle looks kinda goofy
>it still works really fucking well as iron sights
About the only thing I need is an A1 or A2 handguard to complete the retro look.
I picked up my M&P 10 two days ago. And I picked up my Jericho 941 a week ago. Living in CA, there panic buying is still in effect due to shitty laws coming into effect next year.

Nice GSR. Why the tiny mag?

fucking boot
>>31986109
I hope you didn't give her that for self defense

Neat, who made it? I got a Cimarron a couple of years ago for 100 bucks at a pawn shop and I love mine.
Got Steyr m95 made in 1916.
Came with 50 rounds of 1938 nazi marked ammo on clips.

Good job.
Picked this up yesterday. Gonna shoot it today.
I Traded a Winchester 1887 10 gauge for this .44 Ruger super blackhawk hunter at a gun show yesterday

Thanks.
CTD gave me it for free when I made an incorrect magazine purchase. So I just keep it on there with 3 rounds.
Most recent was my CZ75B, though I built an AR back in october. Combination of graduating uni, getting a full time job, and wanting to have scary black high cap guns before the election.

I also traded a Winchester model 97 and $400 for a TNW KP-31, its heavy as fuck and has the trigger pull of a staple gun but its pretty fun, it also came with two drum and three stick mags

How are the chink copies? been thinking of getting a trench gun version

I was thinking of getting a revolver for my wife to CCW. I love the fact that if a primer doesn't pop, she can quickly pull the trigger and fire the next round. Way quicker than pulling the slide back.
What should she get? .380 snub?

Depends on how competent of a shooter she is. If you think she could handle it, a semi auto 9mm like a glock 26, M&Pc, or the shield/glock 43 would be fine. I personally don't care for the single stacks, but that's a preference issue.
Otherwise, a .38 is fine. Especially if she's not familiar with malfunction clearing. There's less involved in the draw>fire process than some semis, especially if she's one of those types of people that are terrified of carrying a loaded semi auto, but for some reason will carry a loaded revolver. As long as the gun is loaded before she picks it up, she's good to go.
