It is a dedicated irons gun for now until I can get an optic for it. I bought the whole thing used because it was cheaper than a fucking DPMS Panther bought new or building my own from scratch, and except for the lack of anything other than irons, the awful handguard, and possibly the barrel I really like it.

You need to combine regular running and sprints to increase speed. Running the same distance every day will just increase endurance for that length of run but not increase speed.

The speed of the Harris is awesome for hunting, but when shooting paper and traversing the Atlas is best.

I would get something more practical first, But after having it for over two years, and at least 2000 rounds, I have had two (2) failures. This includes in snowy, rainy, and dusty conditions. The first was with a friend shooting it, and was a feeding issue. The second was a failure to eject because the port was blocked by a loose sling. The triggers are usable, but not great if you are accustomed to nice ones. Accuracy could be better, I'd call it a 1.5-3 MOA rifle.
