Typically if you plan on using a gun after digging it up you're going to try to clean any mud, dirt or rocks out of the action first, but maybe you're retarded.

Orly then? How about you check out MAC's video where he sprays water into everything and lets it freeze. The only rifle that didn't have a problem was the AK after he broke up the ice in the receiver by racking it a few times.

Can you even rack an AR after its frozen shut? I mean, mortaring it could work, but can you get enough strength to it?
You can just kickstart an AK.

I have to agree. Sick of "muh AK", "AK Stronk", "AK best raifu". Fucking faggots. It's just a mechanical device that is prone to malfunction when dirty or not otherwise properly serviced. I laugh at AK fags who refuse to accept that their Slav shit is no better than other rifles. They aren't even an inexpensive AR alternative anymore.

well guns get dirty during use. AK isn't as sealed as the AR, it'S sometimes a problem. otoh, the AR will havea problem with carbon build up if you are ever forced to shoot >1000rds after a few hours withot being able to clean it. WD40 is a good solvent that helps emergency "clean" an AR on the run if you follow up with a few drops of real lobe, Just spray the chamber bolt and bolt face with the can, work the action, then spray the lube in. AKs don't have that problem, the lugs are bigger.
>>
>>31966880
Then I will accept it if the variables and controls be retested
>>
>>31966426
Yes they do. Regards, another Finnfag.

Canadian Diemacos fir example work in cold just as good as Valmets do.

>>
>>31967139
well you obviously never shot 1500rds in the course of one afternoon.
>>
>>31966426
Diemaco ARs do.
>>
>>31967257
I have. No issues.

1700rds on a 20hr carbine course. In adverse weather (-20 to -27 celcius, snowing)

And for the WD40... I cannot take you seriously if you use WD40 as a lube or cleaning agent unironically. It was not designed for that and it makes issues ecen worse if you use it as a lube or cleaner with guns. It is a water displacer, and a rather good one when used fir that purpose. A gun lube/cleaner it ain't; hell even random motor oil is better.

And I cannot take you seriously if you can't read, my original post:

>WD40 is a good solvent

solvent, as in it solves gunk (polymer/laquer from cases), carbon etc.

>that helps emergency "clean" an AR on the run if you follow up with a few drops of real lobe,

fter "cleaning, follow up with real lube. it'S right there. REAL LUBE!

>Just spray the chamber bolt and bolt face with the can, work the action, then spray the lube in.

again, real, actual lube mentioned.

>AKs don't have that problem, the lugs are bigger.

and explanation. I used break cleaner cans before but it's kinda for of a fire hazard and doesn't work as well - but that's just my subjective opinion.
>>
>>31967690
But WD40 isn't even that good of a solvent either.

And WD40 remains aren't a joke. WD40 turns into what you could practically call a glue after a while. That shit creeps into all kinds of small holes etc. and gets into the wrong place when you least expect it.
I learned this the hard way when I used WD40 as a solvent to clean the carbon and other shit from my RK in the military. Even when I used petroleum or proper gun oils afterwards, WD40 always left something behind in the long run. And it isn't even a good solvent. It is probably the most misunderstood "universal solvent and lube" ever.

While in the military I switched to using CRC to get rid of carbon. It was a bit better. But not perfect. Break-Free CLP was the one I fell in love with. Works as a solvent, cleaner, lube and protectant.
>>
>>31967781
>And WD40 remains aren't a joke.
I heard that a lot but never experienced it myself. And ironically from people who use Ballistol which literally hardens into a resin residue within days. what remains of wd40 is the little bit of oil that's in there and can't evaporate as fast as the petroleum crap. I guess the trick is to keep the gun wet and well oiled all the time between major cleaning sessions with break cleaner acetone.
>>
>>31967147
Muh AK can never jam unless you shove mud in it. AR shits where it eats! Such faggotry on a Friday. Go back to your nutnfancy videos. Your mother should spend less time sucking nigger dick and more time monitoring what you cancerous ass does in the internet.
>>
>>31967854
I have had issues with WD40 both with guns (as described in my previous post) and with engines. I don't use it anymore except for some very specific jobs where I need a water displacer.

I don't use Ballistol either. I never understood why people like it. It is expensive-ish and isn't any better than the combination.

If WD40 works for you, great, use it. My experience has been very different, and most professionals I know don't use WD40 with guns either. Sure it is just a bunch of anecdotes, but I stand by my opinion.
>>
Unsurprisingly, guns with big wide open spaces get caked with mud and jam up. The AK sucks in mud! On the flip side, guns with tighter tolerances like the AR-15 suck when they get sand caked in them! Every gun has a different environmental weakness.
>>
>>31968009
>tolerances

lrn the difference between tolerances and clearances dude. you're embarrassing yourself lik 90% of /k/.

tolerance is the min. and max. allowed deviation from the theoretical specified dimensions of a part. clearance is the empty space engineered into a machine.
>>
>>31966426
Yes, just use dry lube.... like you do in every gun in that weather.
>>
>>31966520
Right, like wash it in a river for a bit and I bet that AK would work.
