Help me pick a .380 pocket gun

I have a lcp. Couple years old now. Its never failed in any way. Only 5-600 rounds so far though. I got bianchi professional iwb holster instead of pocket carry.

I realize it's not a .380, but you'll get more bang for your buck. Seriously, if you're not going to carry a mid/full size autoloader, hammerless revolvers are the way to go.

I have four decent .380s and a .32, its easily my favorite pocket gun

I carry a Kimber Micro Raptor .380.

I like it a lot, it wears right, and shoots great.

Ruger LCP .380 is the only gun I own that I regularly talk bad shit about.

Out of the box, worst trigger I've ever had the displeasure of squeezing. Ruger denied the problem, stated that it was "design" and a "safety feature" and refused warranty service.

That is, until they released their "NEW AND IMPROVED!" model LCP with the red skeletonized trigger to distinguish it from the shitty prior year model. I contacted them again to see about a warranty upgrade now that they had acknowledged the problem, or at least a trigger kit that I could have my gunsmith install, got a big nope.

I'm leaving the sumbitch exactly as it is, bringing it with me to every group shooting event just to tell people the story of the worst trigger pull ever and let them experience it firsthand.

Bottom line: I'll never buy Ruger again, and they can kiss my ass until they take out some serious advertising to let the world know they'll do free upgrades, shipping included, on any "old" black-trigger LCP.

Wouldn't wish harm on any law-abiding gun owner, but wouldn't it be nice if the crappy trigger ends up somehow responsible for a bad situation that ends up with a hefty settlement against Ruger? Pretty sure a class action suit would wake them up.

You should've read a review, you seem very bitter over a 200 dollar gun anon. With any amount of effort, you could have dumped it and upgraded by now. I don't ever hold on to lemons, that's what gunshows/pawn shops are for.

Not quite as small but it is a shooter. Bought mine last year (pic not mine). put some XS dot sights on mine and carry it IWB but could do pocket if i wanted to.

I can carry a subcompact single stack weapon such a Shield with 8+1 capacity of 9mm. Don't get me wrong, I love revolvers, but 5 shot snub noses can't beat that; .38 or .357

This, I talked my girlfriend into buying a Glock 42 shortly after she got her carry permit and she loves shooting it. She's more confident with it than the 43.

Anyone who says .380 isn't worth a damn (especially modern .380 like XTP) is a dumbass. Let me know when you volunteer to get shot with a .380

Sig p238 is an awesome gun. If you can get it on sale, its worth it.
