I have a Sterling AR-180, if Hughes gets repealed then I'm definitely going to get it converted. It'd be nice for my first machine gun and NFA item.

We keep up the momentum and awareness and then have it tacked on to the Hearing Protection Act.

http://bearingarms.com/bob-o/2016/11/10/three-gun-laws-reform-president-trump/

At the very least, an amnesty for registration can be opened without needing to change the law. Trumps sons know all about the NFA and have his ear.

Yeah, that'll happen. There's no way this could ever get out of committee.

I mean, I want one too, but no Senator is going to want to sit and explain why he thinks people should be able to buy machine guns. That's just a political loss no matter how you swing it.

It helped to be during a war time economy at full tilt. Also, that 5 bucks would be about 70 in today's dollars.
>>
>>31963982
That's still cheaper than Hi Point.

Really though, if it's 200 for a tax stamp, I'm highly likely to go for an MP5.

It's cheap to feed, and MG stamps cover every other NFA characteristic of the firearm, so I could buy an MP5SD with only the one stamp.

Using some online conversion shit for every 1 british pound was about 4 USD during 1940.

Converting from that and just doing a rough estimation with another calculator we're looking at about 275 dollars to maybe 500 dollars. I've never done this before so my research might be shit.

We have to use their tactics.
Find the least spooky looking full auto, and act like the Hughes amendment was unjust and tacked on at the last minute without oversight and call for a re vote once the supreme court will pass it. Also tell the ridiculous process to get a tax stamp (fingerprinted, put on list, pay 200 tax, go through several background checks, etc.) and say that this is still highly regulated and just getting rid/redoing an unjust unfairly written law.
Not everyone supports the right, but everyone supports democracy.

Also point out the hypocrisy of the ATF and blame the law, like how you can get arrested and 10 years in prison for an unregistered string. And were just saying you should still be able to register strings, not even that. My point is act like its a very reasonable compromise.
Also maybe emotional tactics to protect from the muh children. (get an ad with a Waco survivor or someone who got their doggo shot by the ATF and pull some really gay emotional shit)

In the 40s, hell yeah.

These days, you have robotic arms to place the parts in the stamping machine and pass them on to the next machine, so you could probably get them done with even less man-hours at an industrial park in Guangzhou.

We have to consult /pol/ to violently shitpost and spam politicians and https://apply.ptt.gov/yourstory this link to repeal the Hughes and make propaganda. Someone start making daily threads on /pol/ to spam those links and call senators.
