My father shoots lefty with a right handed upper just fine, as well as tons of Marines that are wrong handed. My fathers rifle does not like steel cased ammo for some reason, it may be over gassed and it hits him in the cheek so he only shoots brass. Just have to find what works.

Can you attach an old school suppressor that goes all the way up the barrel (ex. King Arms Lightweight Suppressor) onto an old school AR (M733, M727, CAR-15 etc.) with a ring-mounted M203?

TL:DR: Can I make my ultimate raifu (Gary Gordon's M733 with an M203)?

I've always been under the impression you could take apart the suppressor and readjust the baffles to compensate for the lost space just as you would with a CQBR.

No

Some do, most don't. The ones that seem to also have no ability to estimate lengths, because I've had cops want to measure the barrel on my 18" SPR more than a couple times, and I've never had anybody question my 14.5 even at the same ranges.

They stick a rod down the barrel until it hits the bolt face. Then they mark the rod at the muzzle, and measure that. Expect them to cheat it as much as they possibly can.

Yikes definitely look into that. Those gucci bolts are cheaper than a lot of decent barrels.

If it is a 5.56 rifle I would go 11.5"
11.5" is the minimum barrel length for the ubiquitous 55 grain ammo to reach reliable fragmentation velocity at the muzzle. 55 grain from an 11.5" barrel will quite reliably fragment out to about 50yds.

My next pistol build will probably be an 11.5" barrel.

I liked the length of my 10.5"+KX3 clone just fine. An 11.5" with a shorter muzzle device would be about the same length.

liquid lube runs off, and lubricate the fire control group too, especially the mating surfaces.

don't load 31 rounds into a magazine, the bolt won't strip it out of the magazine, it will instead just run right over the top of it and close on an empty chamber. by the time you figure out why it isn't working, you will need to manhandle the extra round out of the top of the mag.
