In the market for a full-duty combat pistol for home defense (CCW too much trouble).
So far I've fired 100 rounds through each of the following:
CZ-75
M1911
Beretta 92/96 (50 rounds each)
Two questions:
How do i decide between each firearm?
is buying used a mistake?
At $15 for a range fee and $12 to rent a gun, not including ammo, this is getting pretty expensive.
suggestions?

My nightstand pistol is a Springfield 1911 RO Oper8r.
I like 1911s because I like outdated technology that still works. Pick which one you liked best and buy it.

I'd fuck twins into this girl, confident that both of them would drink their fill at those fat teats.
I see you haven't tried any plastic guns yet. I don't blame you.

how do i decide whats best?
shit's expensive,i cant spend all day at the range senpai
>>31962243
ok but what would you defend them with
>>31962245
i just like the look and feel of metal
>>31962271
How do you decide your favorite color? I don't have all of life's answers for you anon.
>>31962184
Which one did you shoot the best?
Which one turns you on the most?
What's most important to you in a firearm?
>>31962271
Personally? 1911. It would be thematic with the large, somewhat outdated and low-capacity American dick I'm impregnating her with.
>>31962330
the cz75 and the m1911 make me pretty hard breh
i want to look the beretta but the grip felt wierd in my hands
i feel like i need to shoot more but at the same time, renting gets expensive.
can i really go wrong with any vgiven combat gun?
willing to spend up to $1,000 but no more
>>31962393
in that case, go with the cz75.
>>31962271
Whichever one you like fuccboi.we aint gonna tell you what you can or cant like.
>>31962393
My first pistol was a 1911. I had never held a pistol before, let alone used one.
I do like it though. I like it a lot. I now own three.
>>31962184
>>31962271
personally experience? I'd go with a 1911 with a rail. stay away from taurus, they're junk. get one in .45acp and throw a tac light on it. If at all possible, try to get one with a wilson feed ramp.
and standard 230gr ball range grade .45acp is fucking cheap. 15 for a box of 50rnds. and even with standard ball, it has a lot less risk of going through a wall. unlike 9mm. that shit will go through 2 walls. again, this is coming from personal experience.
>>31962393
Just pick whatever you want. 100 rounds is nothing but first impressions.
Couple thousands rounds later you'll have a much better of what you want and if your pick meets that.
>>31962393
Either one is a fine choice, and you can consider getting the other one down the line. Your first pistol shouldn't be your last.
>>31962393
No, you can't really go wrong with any of them.
If you're completely undecided, I'd still honestly suggest a Beretta 92A1/M9A1. Buy a TLR1 light for on the rail, and a couple 20 round Mecgar mags for it. Cheap upgrades that make a good HD pistol a fucking great one.
If the Beretta's grip feels weird to you, buy some G10 replacements from Wilson Combat or VZ Grips. You wouldn't believe the difference it makes.

>>31962184
Glock 17

First let me say that you're miles ahead of most first time handgun buyers(myself included, i was an idiot in 2010) in that you've rented and shot the guns you're considering.
That said, you can't go wrong with a CZ 75. 9mm is where it's at if you want to shoot lots of cheap range ammo(you're going to) and still have ton's of self defense load options.
If you must have a metal framed gun, you should check out the Arex Rex Zero

Is this real? How many tax stamps?
>>31962529

Holy shit what airline?
>>31964362
Says "Sky Bird" on the seats but I've never heard of them. I am an stewardess connoisseur though, so I'd be a frequent flyer.
>>31962184
as someone whos shot all those guns buy a glock
cz75 is average,92 looks good but is bulky, a 1911 is an experts gun that no expert would willingly pick as a practical gun.
a glock just works.
none of your options are bad choices but the 75 is for hipsters, the 92 is for people who buy based off cool factor, and 1911 is mostly hype.
those are all fine in a second gun or range toy but you want a glock for practical use
>>31962480
>>31962615
I'm glad I bought my Beretta over a Glock.

This picture makes me erect.

The 1911 is a great gun, but you made it sound like the weapon choice of hipsters.
