something inexpensive that you don't care about and small like an LCP, BG380, S&W 642/442 if you want a revolver, a 9mm Shield at the largest and most expensive. If you carry a gun worth more than $400 and larger than a Shield, it's really unnecessary. I see people carrying like $1,200 s70 1911s, so pointless. that's the BEST. if you personally don't feel comfortable with so few rounds etc, then buy a glock, 92fs, cz75/sp07 or whatever the fuck. they're still fairly inexpensive while giving you all of the rounds you'd need. seeing people CARRY their special snowflake gun is really dumb IMO.

Why? It's a gun I understand that if it's used I'll be without it while the police use it as evidence. But that's hardly an excuse to make your insurance policy cheap.

To caveat, I carry an xds and realize that cheap=/= low quality

Kel Tek P11. Not for everyone, but serves my purposes well. 10+1, DAO, no safety, small, easy conceal in holster or clip, easy takedown, 9mm, reliable after break-in (500 rds. carry ammo with no malfunction), great customer svc.

heavy and 9x18. weak for what it is. not many rounds. you could get a 9mm shield and it'd be brand new, lighter, and use 9x19. i'd rather have a 380 than a 9x18
