Unlikely. While the Supreme Leader does want to strengthen ties with Russia, he also wants to restrict international trade that is detrimental to domestic. IE, substitute goods. Look at AKs for example; since Saiga's have been restricted, DDI and Century have begun selling 100% American AKs, and Kalashnikov Concern USA is supposedly bringing one to market eventually too.

Where should I go from here? I'm saving up for an Aimpoint PRO at the moment. Looking at a Streamlight Rail Mount 2 for a light.

Also, troy rail is fine, non-free-float is fine. I was dinging 10" plates at 400 yards every time with green tips. The irons and trigger make a huge difference.

The finish was pretty bad when I got it, but it locks up perfectly and has zero rattle.

Fit was much better than I expected. Though it depends on how rattly your handguards are now- BCM makes their barrel nuts and handguard caps pretty tight.

Anyway, it dropped right in, no problems. The clamping system they use are four screws that tighten the rail against the barrel nut to minimize play. It's not as robust as the KAC RAS, but you will not be disappointed.

Also, I emailed KAC about their RAS seconds. They haven't had a production run in a while and they still have a batch of firsts online. So we won't be seeing new seconds for a while.
