The NRA supports the ban on foreign imports because american gun comapnies pay them up the ass to. We could have $60 mosins and pay $50 bucks for 800 rounds of 7.62x54r again but we have literally no one on our side to lift the import bans.

I just cut my 30" Remington 11-48 down to 20" and added an extension for 7+1 capacity. i don't like how the finishes of the barrel and mag don't match so i'll have to do something about that

Wait, that has the lug. And the sling mount is in the right spot. I've seen bayonet lugs on them with sling mounts on the end of the mag tube. Now I'm really interested.
