How do you weaponize a stick?
How to make the stick do more damage?
>>31957096
Tie a pointy rock to it.
A not-pointy rock will probably also work.
>>31957096
Carve out about 3/4s of it, and contour the end to fit up against your shoulder. put a gun action job the first 3/4s. It's weapon used now.
Use a Rootstock, making the stick even heavier on the hitting end.
>ACOG sight
>Tactical grip for maximum wood gripage
>>31957096
wrap barbed wire around one end, make sure you hold it on the opposite end.

But Anon, nothing can beat a stick.
Glue some heavy shit to it.

Break stick in half, then have two stick. Continue until have more stick than Ugg then fuck his wife.

You need to put poo on the stick
>>31957229
I was gonna post that!
>>31957229
Potato mashers are pretty good melee weapons
Why use stick when you can have branch? Branch is bigger than stick and an has stick attachments. Sometimes food!
>>31957096
sharpe it into the pike ?
>>31957535
Branch is unwieldy in cave defense scenarios. You try to fend off sabertooth with two arm length branch in one arm length high cave, you get eaten.
>>31957575
Branch longer than cat though, poke cat eyes. Even can use flame branch. Branch is best
>>31957575
>>31957535
You no need scary assault branch or stick, you just want kill younglings?
Want compensate for small berries?
Tribal decree say only warrior make with assault stick, only hunting twig allowed
>inb4 hunga bunga 2nd decree
Obviously meant for warriors
>>31957575
mammothshit, every cave dweller know sharpened branch is best to keep sabertooth away, Cave Law let you stand ground from Darkmen too.

Anon, I don't think you know how ants work.
Tape more more sticks to it, side by side.
You now have a TRIPLE STICK.

now stick does more damage
Sharpen an end to a point.
Attach a rock, sharp or dull, to it. You can make a hammer, spear, or axe.
If sufficiently long and straight enough, attempt to make a bow.
Sharpen one end, and harden it in a fire (depending on kind of wood).
You now have a spear, and a pretty good one at that, at least for killing people and/or medium sized wildlife.

>>31957096
Look, when it comes to sticks, nobody knows more about sticks better than I, and believe me, I know a lot about sticks. I have the best sticks. What they have been doing to our sticks is just... terrible. Terrible. Even China is making that better than us. Sad! And don't get me wrong, I don't hate China. I love China. I have great relationships with China. I love the Chinese people. But they're definetely outsmarting us. *sniff* We're going to have to bring our sticks back, folks. And it will come back better and stronger than ever before.
>>31962782
Looks like it has some engraving on it. There are some really impressive ones, they used to put bone in the natural knots of the wood to make them hit harder. That particular one is very unimpressive. Since Fijians didn't develop metallurgy or had any rocks worth making weapons from, hardened wooden clubs were they primary weapon.
>>31963627
Legendary
>>31957096
classic and easy
>>31962782
There wouldn't be a lot of them around if its an original piece of work, timber doesn't last real long in the tropics. Many of them got ditched after the Fijian's converted to Christianity and stopped eating the missionaries, now if it was a Totokia- a chief's war club you're talking serious cash (6-10k) as they're very rare and generally kept in the family. Plus to make one they'd find a sapling when they where a young age, push it over to make the curve and wait a while for it to grow up straight.

Stick is already weapon, grock swing against tiger head good, tiger go down hard.

>Use a Rootstock, making the stick even heavier on the hitting end.
Listen to this, for it is pretty cool:
Since the darkest of times, the Lithuanians had a cool metod of making an excellent war-stick.
One would find a young oak tree, and make small slices in the bottom, where the roots are. Into those slices, one would install sharpened flints.
The tree would grow arround flints, making them stick in place, and after some years, one would end up with an excellent war club.
I read about it in a famous book from 19 century, aparently, Lithuanians ware still making them back then. It was called a "nasieka" (a mix of words "smash" & "slice").
>>31962742
That's pathetic. You couldn't even install the screws without splitting the wood.
>>31960588
>have stick
>collect fire ants in jar
>attach jar to end of stick
>???
>home defense!
>>31964871
The problem with biological enhancements is that they aren't lasting. They're great for a near-future confrontation (an offensive effort), but not for preparedness (which is an ongoing long-term thing).
If you're being attacked frequently, you'll need more ants afterwards, and you aren't going to mind the effort. Worth it for the reload. If you're not being attacked, and your ants die, you're soon going to start questioning the effort of replacing them. The investment of time and energy could surely be used some other way that's more productive. Maybe something that doesn't deliberately release fire ants anywhere near where you sleep.
Also, if you're defending your home with a stick and some ants, that jar would be one of the more valuable things you own.
>>31957096
1. Make it sharper.
or
2. Make it heavier.
