Are these good? they're cheap, but the reviews say they aren't quiet enough. Are they good enough for 7.62x39 is all I need to know.
>>
yes mine work fine with my AK, cheek weld might be a small issue, and remember to double up on ear protection just in case
>>
Jesus fuck more ear pro autists. Just find somewhere to shoot outside. A good thread died for this.
>>
>>31941011
If you want to double up on hearing protection since the NRR on those are pretty low
>>
>>31941042
You're still going to hurt your ears shooting outside pal.
>>
>>31941042
MAWP
>>
>>31941011
They are fine as >>31941023 said double up especially if your indoors.

>>31941042
Do you not wear earpro even outside? Because that's ultra dumb.
>>
>>31941011
They're good ear niggas, just grab some cheap foam plugs for underneath.
>>
>>31941051
>>31941067
>>31941072

What the fuck are all of you shooting Mosins still?
>>
Double up. I use plugs and Howard Leight Impact Sports.
>>
>>31941134
Haha what?

AR15 shrillshot will fuck your ears up
>>
>>31941011
I don't double up and these work great.

The problem I find with them is with eyes on they can get loose on your ears.

Otherwise pretty great and let's you hear for miles.
>>
>>31941134
Don't even own a mosin pal.
>>
>>31941233
Not anymore. I sold my m44 ~4 months ago. Liked it, but the ammo was getting too expensive for it to be fun.
>>
Don't be a poorfag, Howard leights are bottom barrel. They clip noise instead of attenuating and have a shitty seal due to no gel replacement cups.

If you want to cheap out spend 80 on some peltors.
>>
Do I have to have ear pro to shoot a gun? If so, is there any risk of Hillary banning ear pro to choke out potential new gun owners?
>>
>>31941309
No? I can easily pull the trigger and shoot the gun, we just don't want to fuck up our ears.
Hilary cannot ban ear pro because it has many uses outside of protection of hearing from firearms.
>>
>>31941324
Guns have many uses outside of firearms too, but they're first on the chopping block.
>>
>>31941309
>banning ear protection
>industrial manufacturing becomes illegal
Are
you

double up with volume maxed, and you'll be fine with any gun, indoor and outdoor.
>>
>>31941023
>>31941049
>>31941072
>>31941169
>>31941556
All of you who say double up, which part do you think isn't noise dampening enough? I typically stick to just plugs and have always been comfy+EEEEEE free.
>>
>>31941605
Headphone style earpro doesn't protect as much as plugs do, and especially if you wear glasses or anything that breaks the seal of the earcups. Doubling up with plugs just reduces noise even further to be safe.
>>
I have these. Question though.. is using the mic function only when you want to talk to people? Or is turning it on also supposed to help noise cancel? I only turn them on when I'm trying to talk to someone otherwise I leave them off. I have no clue, honestly.
>>
>>31941605
i double up because sometimes the seal breaks and i dont want hearing damage if someone shoots when its not sealed
>>
>>31941893
>is turning it on also supposed to help noise cancel?
No, it's just meant to help you hear your surroundings. You can use them as normal muffs all you want, but you just could have saved yourself 40 bucks
