a single stack glock 19 variant
the 43 is way to small to hold, let alone shoot comfortably/ I want something with a bit of heft I can hold onto but still thin for carry

a modern equivilant to pic related
>single stack
>.380 or even .32
>aluminum or even dare I say steel
>striker or hell even SAO
>still has decent, compact level size to it. Not the size of something you'd find in a cereal box
Ive looked around and found some decent alternative close to it (p32 kel tec sucks btw) but I shot a real 1908 and we really dont make them like that anymore

>Shield sized DA/SA 9mm with a ~7lb DA trigger
>singlestack P320 with modular grip lengths and magazine baseplates to fine tune what grip length you like to work with so you don't have to stick with a shorter grip and a big baseplate that makes you have to take your pinky off on reloads

pic illustrates what I'm trying to explain. Probably add an undercut trigger guard like seen on the Legion line of Sigs.

I'd like to see a 21st century carry revolver. It would ideally have:

1.) Snub length barrel (2.25 to 3 inches)
2.) Holds 6 rounds of .38 special or 7-8 of .327
3.) Has a melonite finish
4.) Is made with a scandium frame to reduce weight
5.) Comes with a pinned XS Big Dot front sight and actual rear sights rather than a groove
6.) Has a shrouded hammer like the 638 to prevent snagging but allowing for single action shooting
7.) Rubber grips that cover the backstrap completely and allow for a 3 finger grip rather than just a 2 finger grip
7.) An integral Picatinny rail

Unfortunately, the only people who buy revolvers these days are fudds and women, neither of which are willing to shell out for a gun that they find nontraditional or unaesthetic.

Other things that would be cool but are even more farfetched than anything I typed above:

a.) An adaptation of the Nagant gas seal system that confers some of its advantages without the crippling disadvantages of an anemic snowflake round and a horrible trigger
b.) A modern top-break design

grenades are only good for CC in the middle east and Ferguson
>>
>>31924517
What about a Colt Mustang, Sig P238, or Bersa Thunder 380 CC? None of those are perfect matches, but they're reasonable approximations.

ITT: Glock people keep complaining about Glocks even though they love Glocks.

>g17
>"now we want a smaller one"
>g19
>"now we want an even smaller one"
>g26
>"but that's too thick!"
>"now we want a glock for ants!"
>g42/43
>"it's too small now!"
>"we want shitty capacity, but larger ergos."

If you want a mouse sized carry glock, get a 42/43. If you want a normal sized carry glock, get a 19/23. Not happy with either? Get something else.

But, of course, glock will inevitably come out with something not-so-revolutionary, yet bill it as the greatest thing ever.

>inb4 "you don't know glocks, reee!"
>I own a glock
>it's pretty ok
>>
>>31924479
Just put an extended clip in the g43!
>>
>>31924517
I've been wanting a colt hammer less ever since boardwalk empire came out.
>>
>>31925772
G26 is awesome though.
>>
>>31925736
close but id rather get a regular 1911, too small for my hands (actually one of the most uncomfortable pistols ive shot, very disappointing because I wanted one) and ive thought about it but id probably get >>31925615
instead

hes saying he doesnt want a mouse gun, but a thin compact model which is a perfectly reasonable idea
>waaah dont have dreams or ideas that you think would work
>just get a glawk 19 or bust
end your life
