No I work Armed Response. Armed Response is when alarm companies contract us out to deal with shit rather than the police or sheriff because either;

Long story short, wasted money on the cert. Didn't think nothing of it, went back to school to work in the medical field. One day look into old file cabinet and see my cert. Buddy tells me about a company. End up in it and here I am.

That and we use drones like theres no tomorrow.

Starting off is 25$ max out is 45$ and thats manning you're own team. But most of the guys including me are at 28$ Mostly because all the guys doing it are part time So teams are constantly rotating on assignments and duties. When we're not responding to stuff, depending on the team. We're either doing basic security (Observe and report), assisting the tech teams in installing sensors and alarms. Making house calls talking to clients and how they want us to do patrols around their houses or business when they request patrol service. Or going over paper work with clients from the basic, women/men who have restraining orders and we have rapid response to a nearby patrol guy. To full out armed response for break ins.


Then theres going with the bosses to bid for contracts looking pretty in the Uniform and what not. Most of our income comes from basic security from lower level employees. And then 2nd comes surveillance, especially when we get local government contracts and the occasional big boy stuff because constantly watching someone can go for god knows how long before someone says pull the plug and go cheaper with local or federal. But to work government contracts only the elite super amazing background in LEO and military can do that stuff. And then third comes in the techs constantly upgrading and working on equipment and alarms and sensors/Cameras etc.

Fourth is warrants/armed responses and fifth is patrol services and finally we're working on getting overseas contracts. Bosses have been working on it for nearly 5 years, hard to compete with big boy PMC companies when none of the bosses are ex SF or former PMC themselves. But Maritime contracts, from what I've heard are cheaper and easier to get. I dunno, its not something I'd see myself doing forever. Its fun but liability is a bitch to work with, bosses tally up to hundreds of thousands of dollars on lawyers sometimes. Thats why they want PMC contracts because thats a billion dollar industry.
