I ended up with a Yugo mauser for $290 and a shitload of Turkish surplus ammo at 25 cents each. It seems it was never fired and the Turkish ammo actually works nicely, but I still wish I could have gotten an SKS.

200 rounds is a decent loadout. 7 30-rnd STANAG mags would weigh about 7.7-8lb. 20 SKS clips should run you about 8lb. A rifle and 200 rounds for about 16.5lb is pretty fucking good. SKSs are diehard reliable, and I've seen vids of people taking them to about 450-500m, so they're pretty damn accurate as well. An AR would obviously be MORE accurate, but still, SKSs are great rifles, even the Chinese ones.

It's a possibility, though I'm thinking the stock of surplus Russian surplus SKSs is likely dried up for the most part. I mean, just imagine how many AKMs and AK-74s they have stored, meanwhile haven't they also adopted the AN-94 and AK-12? Those will be mass produced, undoubtedly with crates upon crates of them being cosmo'd for storage for our grandchildren and great grandchildren to enjoy in the future when laser/plasma rifles replace cartridge firing rifles.

If they start importing SKSs from China, then I believe the value of Russian SKSs will decrease to an extent, but they will likely be seen as particularly valuable for no reason other than being Russian and thus separating them from the Chinese SKSs that would flood the market. I don't think there's any difference in quality between Chinese and Russian SKSs, but yeah, I figure the Russian SKSs will still be held at a higher price (notably more different than the Chinese vs Russian SKSs in Canada which was only about a $20 difference last I checked; $185 or so for Chinese and $215 for Russian in 2011-12 I think), even if the price will diminish. I just don't think the Russians have many SKSs left to hand out. Now AKs... that's another matter. The cost of AKMs will probably drop to the point that in short time, as many American gun owners will have semi auto converted Russian AKMs as there are American gun owners that have AR-15s.

That's my prediction on if Trump lifts the import ban on Chinese and Russian surplus. The SKS will probably become as popular or more so than the AR-15 as well, but primarily Chinese ones, not so much Russian ones. Unconverted AKMs would become the most popular assault rifle for those with the proper paperwork to buy them.

Friends of mine used to do it and some still do. Here you can sell twice a week. First time they give you like $20 then the second you get like $40. Goes on one of those visa gift card things.

Plasma regenerates a lot faster than bloodcells. It's basiclly water and electrolytes from what I gathered. However you'll find that if you donate plasma at at a real bloodcenter like redcross by law they can't let you donate more than once every 28 days. I'm not sure how plasma centers get what with letting people go twice a week.

Personally I don't trust the process, let alone the facility. Plus you look like a heroin addict with so many needle sticks by retards who can't stab your vein in one go.

I see. The biggest drawback, besides my hatred of needles, is probably the idea of having 'track marks'. The needle aspect alone would make the experience VERY stressful for me however, to the point that I probably won't even be able to read while waiting; I'd be feeling too nervous/stressed. god damn, that's tempting. Much more appealing than SKS ammo pouches because that there would be lighter, and would keep your belt free. Not only that, but 3 pouches (2 on left hip, 1 on right to go with holstered pistol) only carries 120 rounds. That there thing will hold up to 200! If I wanted to be able to carry more, just put a pouch or two on my left hip. Awkward to try and reload an SKS while getting clips with the left hand, so I figure reloading would be done from that vest, with the clips in the ammo pouches being used to replenish the vest.
