Do vortex, so if your ar10 kills the optic, you can return it. Not sure why you'd get an AR10 if you can only afford a $500 optic

I just picked up the m&p 10, I'm also looking for recommendation on a scope. I found a burris fullfield e1 3-9x40 would this be a good setup for general home defense use and range use?

Look here poor fag. I put in 3k to build my ar10. Its been built for almost 3 years, havent had an optic on it yet. Just use the irons until i find a good deal on good glass

I just got one of these myself for my 15 and I am loving it.

if you're going to shoot .308 you might as well try to get decent glass
if you don't want to spend more than $400 then I suppose get an aimpoint pro if you don't have shitty astigmatism like I do

fuck I wish I had like 5k for an ar10 build, ammo, and accessories

With 5k, I'd just get a SCAR 17 and some nice glass.

I have a ~40 year-old Leopold 2-7x scope on my AR. Works great. Very crisp.
