Not him, but It is only marginally (and I do mean marginally) wider and taller than the shield. Only a few millimeters in either direction.

Yet it holds more rounds, has an accesory rail, and a better grip. The triggers on both are shit and should be replaced with an apex.

You're right about the triggers though. I had a fullsize and my friend had the shield. We both sold them because of the trigger, even after trying the apex. I went with a CZ 97 and he got a Glock 43, we're both much happier.

Picked up my PTR-91 A3R yesterday and immediately slapped on the HK bipod I received earlier in the day. It'll probably be the last gun I buy until I can afford a SCAR-17S or the CZ Shadow 2 comes out, unless I stumble into some crazy deal before then. I also bought a Glock 19 MOS, CZ Scorpion Evo carbine, and two AR lowers in the last month, so I'm pretty tapped out as it is.

The paddle release is fun as fuck. It's not as "positive" as something like an AK release (it kinda wiggles around even when loaded), but it's infinitely easier to manipulate than the button once you get the hang of it.

I'm just treating reload practice with it as prep for when my AK build is done next month.

Weird, I've heard about ZQI having poor groups, but most PTR guys I've heard using it have said it ejects fine. I definitely hope it doesn't choke on it, because I went to all the Walmarts around here in the past week and bought up something like 500 rounds of the stuff for $7.47 a box.

I'm fairly sure it's a problem with my rifle, but when I called PTR they said they advise against using ZQI because it's underloaded. They did tell me to try out steel-cased ammo, I just haven't gotten around to doing that.
I have about 100 rounds I'm still sitting on and an M1a to run them through at least.

Picked up the AMD-63 that I bought from classicfirearms last Tuesday. Got 4 10 round pmags and 4 10 round korean steel mags for it yesterday and now I'm waiting for an order of yugoslav 7.62x39 to come in.
